Review: GEO Tri-Color Gray from Lensvillage.com

A few weeks ago, I received a pair of lenses from Lensvillage.com for review purposes. Today I'm going to review the GEO Tri-color gray lenses.

I reviewed the Geo Tri-color blue a while back: see blogpost.

It came with a cute purple case to store the circle lenses. I love it that most of the websites will give a cute case with your purchase. However, I personally prefer the simple cases which are a bit transparent, so that I'm able to see which circle lenses are inside. It's confusing if you have a lot of circle lenses at home with the same cases >.<".

China Glaze “Colours from the Capitol” Collection

There is an official announcement that Lionsgate has partnered with China Glaze on a collection of nail polish to debut in conjunction with the March 23, 2012 release of the movie The Hunger Games. (You might know the story from their books.) The collection is called the "Colours from the Capitol". The collection of the nail polish is inspired by one of the book's distinct settings - the Capitol of the nation of Panem. These nail polishes will be available at beauty retailers beginning on March 1, 2012.

I just got back from Hong Kong and Singapore and most of you girls were curious about the products that I bought during my trip, so I'm planning to post a few Haul posts ^^. Review: Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Mask

Today I'm going to review a product ^^ which is called the Apple AC Therapy Sleeping mask from Baviphat. I had read plenty of good reviews about this product, so I wanted to give it a try. Baviphat is one of the popular Korean cosmetics brand which is launched in 2009. Back from vacation!

Hi lovely followers ♥,
I'm finally back from vacation ^^, I'm sure that you didn't really notice it that I was away for a few weeks. I was in Hong Kong for two weeks and one week in Singapore. I'm still a bit tired, but I just wanted to tell you girls that I'm back and back to the blogging world ^^. I wrote a bunch of things on twitter while I was in Hong Kong & Singapore, so some of you (who are following me on twitter) already know where I was and where I went. DIY: I've finally tried the Oatmeal Cleanser!

After I had seen the video from Bubzbeauty where she explained how to use Oatmeal as a cleanser, I directly wanted to try it out... however, I just didn't have the time to do it. Lots of Bloggers have tried it already and they all wrote a good review about it. It definitely attracted me to try it out myself because I'm still searching for a moisturizing cleanser which doesn't leave a tight feeling on my face. I recently had the time to try it and I have to say ..... well, just continue with reading ;).

My Favorite Fashion Youtubers

These are a couple of my favorite Fashion Youtubers. There are a lot of them and in this blogpost I'm going to show you my favorites! Some of them don't have many followers yet, but they are definitely worth to follow! The most important of fashion videos are mostly the quality of the video (HQ!), the type of fashion, lighting, the music, how the video is edited and the person who is in the video. When all of the above things are good, I usually will automatically follow that Youtuber.

I just love her! I love her style, I love how she's like super happy in every video, the quality of her videos are always GOOD! The editing is awesome as well o_o"! Do I need to say more? She started on Youtube 9 months ago and has more than 83,000 subscribers already! Check this video out where she was in NYC together with Lindi, Bubzbeauty.

Beware of your posture

I'm sure that most of you people are using their computer or laptop very often. Do you sit hours and hours behind your computer? Do you exercise every hour while you're sitting in front of your screen? I'm sure that a lot of you don't do that at all.... Are you aware of your posture while you're sitting in front of your computer? We all know it's bad to look at your screen for so long, but we are still doing it =/.

I met up with Malaysian Blogger Cheesie ♥~

I met up with the popular Malaysian Blogger Cheesie ^___^! Some of you already knew this because I tweeted about it and posted a picture with Cheesie & me on Facebook. I'm sure that a lot of you are following her blog, Cheeserland.com. She has heaps of followers across the world and she even has plenty of followers in Holland ^^. It was such an honor to meet her, since I've been reading her blogposts for 1,5 year and I admired her pretty pictures ever since.

This cute girl loves cheese, so she decided to go to the land of CHEESE which is The Netherlands =D! I was so surprised and excited when she tweeted that she was in Amsterdam! It was definitely a spontaneous meet up xD. I met up with her in Amsterdam, I showed her around the city and we camwhored a bit of course hahaha. Unfortunately, I didn't take a lot of pictures with my camera, because the camera from Cheesie is way better than mine o__o so we took most of the pictures with hers ^___-. She will post the photos on her blog soon, so must check it out! P.s. I'm so jealous of her flawless skin ahhhh... Her flawless skin isn't photoshopped on pictures, it's flawless in real as well ahhh so jealous XD !!!

Hair tutorials for medium/ shoulder length hair

Today I'm going to share a few hair tutorials for medium length hair/ shoulder length hair. That's right, there are many tutorials online, not only for long hair but also hair which are shorter! Who says that you can't do anything with it if it's short?

1. The Beauty Department
I totally love this blog and their Youtube videos. This blog is created by 3 girls, Laura, Kristin and Amy. Sometimes they will share a hair tutorial on their channel which is mostly for long hair. However, they also posted one for short hair a few months ago, it looks so easy and pretty ^__^ check it out:

"I feel so insecure ..... about my braces!" Part 1

Have you ever felt insecure before? Sometimes it's because of the way people talk about you but also the way people look at you can make you feel insecure. If one friend of yours says ugly words about your new shirt, would you never wear it again, just because that person said so.. ? We all care a lot what other people say and that can make us feel damn insecure. Sometimes we just feel insecure about ourselves because of our new hairstyle or clothes or even wearing braces can make us feel insecure, because you think it's ugly. Yes, I also felt insecure before, plenty of times!!!

My story
Last year I decided to wear braces (which is quite late, since I'm 22 already lol), that's right it was my own choice to wear it just because I want to have straight teeth and I'm sure that I will be happy with it after the process. However, on the first day when I wore the braces, I automatically cried because it was so fugly x___x". I definitely felt insecure at the beginning. I didn't even want to talk to friends at first because it was so ugly xD I mean... it doesn't look attractive at all right?! Also, after I had my braces, I didn't want to show my teeth on photos XD, people could only see me smiling since then.

But I got used to my braces after 3 months or so and I have been wearing braces for longer than a year now. I realized that it's actually a very normal thing to wear it. There are even people who are 30 years or older who are wearing braces and almost everybody had it when they were young.. so what's the big deal? Why should a brace face like me feel insecure about it? Yes, I got my confidence back after a couple of months xD.

Review: Bornprettystore Handmade False Eyelashes

If you think of Bornprettystore, you will think of nail art products right? Did you know that they also sell false eyelashes ^^? I received a box of handmade black false eyelashes from Bornprettystore.com for review purposes. I reviewed a pair of eyelashes from them before, see previous review. The eyelashes which I'm going to review in this blogpost are made of high quality fibre. There are 10 pairs in one box and on the Bornprettystore.com website it says that it looks natural and true on the eyes! These eyelashes are brandless and just to make it clear, these are NOT Princess Lee eyelashes, even though the packaging looks a bit like it. I Love High Tea / Afternoon Tea ^___^ ♥! I recently went to Drie Graefjes in Amsterdam. It's a lovely place to eat lunch and you can also go there with some friends to have an afternoon tea. It costs €22,50 for each person and it was served in four courses, this was the first one:

China Glaze introduced 12 nail polishes in this collection. These were specifically created with the winter season in mind and you can definitely see that in this collection. Review: JUJU Cosmetics - Aquamoist Face Washing Foam

JUJU Cosmetics is a famous Japanese brand with 4 product lines including Aquamoist. Their Aquamoist line is similar to the products of Hada Labo. At least, according to the products that they are selling... I don't know about the quality of the products. However, I have heard so many good things about both brands. Therefore I wanted to try a product of JUJU Cosmetics. I was searching for a good face wash, so I gave the JUJU Cosmetics Aquamoist hyaluronic acid washing foam a try.

Everybody should know the brand My Beauty Diary (我的美麗日記) by now since I've posted a lot of blogposts about it on my blog xD. Around March 2011 they introduced the My Tea Time (甜蜜午茶篇) line into the market including an eye make up remover, a scrub and cleansers. Sleeping masks
These sleeping masks have a jelly texture and can be used for day & night. You can use it as a daily moisturizer or as a sleeping mask at night. My family and I went to a restaurant to have some dim sum and my sis brought her fujifilm instax camera with her. WEEEE~! Totally love that camera, I'm going to buy one soon hehehehe... I JUST LOVE JAPAN! We all know that Japanese people has the most awesome fashion style xD. It always looks like Halloween there. People are dressing up in the weirdest clothes! Bornprettystore has become a well-known online store this year. They sell nail art products, eye lashes, lenses, accessories and many more. Their assortment is getting larger and larger and I'm always curious what they will add next. Bornprettystore.com offered me a pair of handmade false eyelashes for review purposes. Happy Mooncake Festival - 中秋節快乐!

Happy mooncake festival everybody ^o^! Have you'll been eating mooncakes lately? Many people love to eat the mooncakes with eggs in it, but I prefer the ones without egg xD. I wish I was in Asia right now to celebrate it. This is such a huge festival in Asia. Two years ago I celebrated it in Hangzhou with a few friends. It's always so beautiful and crowded during this festival. I even had the chance to light my own sky lantern back then ='D. My friend (Weiyi, which you see in the video) and I did need a bit help from local Chinese people to release it xD. Do you see all the lanterns in the sky? In this blogpost I would like to share this lovely beauty gadget with you girls. It's nothing new, but lots of people aren't using it yet. These are also sold at drugstores and at stores like Sephora and Zoya. However, these stores are selling it way too expensive then it is. Therefore it's better to buy these on Ebay.
