SexyLook - Hello Kitty Moisturizing & Brightening Mask

I purchased some Sexy Look Hello Kitty masks while I was in Hong Kong a while back. You probably have noticed that I don't post sheet mask reviews that often anymore. The reason for that is because of the whitening ingredients which were in the products that I used. Whitening products made my face very pale and after a while it didn't match with my neck and the rest of my body anymore lol. Therefore I reduced the usage of whitening products.

Instead of whitening sheet masks I tend to use moisturizing sheet masks more often. Today I'm reviewing the Sexy look Hello Kitty Hyaluronic Acid Brightening and Moisturising Mask. It has an adorable packaging!! I just couldn't resist it when I saw this at the drugstore  since I'm a huge sucker for cute packaging. Lets start with the review shall we ;) ..

Bel Mondo: Bio Cellulose Mask - Skin Lightener Review

I was contacted by Bel Mondo Beauty a month ago to try out their Bio Cellulose masks that they are selling. I have been trying their skin lightener mask for 4 weeks now (1 time per week) and I have to say that I'm able to see some great effects after I've used this mask ^___^. The bio cellulose mask is very different than the normal (paper) masks that I've tried.

Bio cellulose Mask: Skin Lightener Luxury facial treatment featuring Niacinamide and Licorice Extract
The skin lightener mask is ideal for those who want help in lightening their complexion and addressing uneven tone (dark spots) caused by hyper-pigmentation. It contains five active ingredients that works in tandem to inhibit melanin production or correct the effects of its overproduction. This mask is safe for all skin types. In addition to providing lightening benefits, their lightener mask excels at hydrating skin and sealing moisture necessary for healthy skin structure.

Benefits
   * Lightens skin color/reduces effect of unwanted pigmentation
   * Inhibits melanin production
   * Hydrates and seals moisture barrier
   * Restores suppleness

Review: My Beauty Diary - Southern France Apricot

Haven't done a sheet mask review for a while ^^". The previous my beauty diary review was the peruvian sunflower sheet mask. Today I'm going to review the Southern France Apricot mask. This mask is suitable for normal skin. It is especially recommended for dry skin and combination skin that tends towards dryness. Yes it should be a very suitable mask for me~!!
Description
My Beauty Diary Southern France Apricot Mask softens, smooths and highly moisturizes the skin. Apricot extract from southern France provides excellent moisturizing effect. It quenches the thirst of skin, leaving dry skin keenly comfortable. The skin surface will be inscrutably velvety to the touch. Added with extracts of highly moisturizing grain, such as oat, job's tears and hydrolyzed rice protein, it gives more in-depth nourishing and nursing effect to dry skin. The stratum corneum is fully soaked in moisturizing ingredients. It maintains skin’s suppleness, elasticity, fairness and clearness.

Packaging
The packaging is orange and the words at the back are silver. It has a few apricots on the box and on the packaging. It just looks simple & neat :), nothing to complain about.

The scent and structure
Once I opened the packaging I could directly smell a light & sweet apricot scent ^o^. Whoaa~ it smelled good, it's the scent that I expected! The mask itself is thin and it has heaps of serum on it. I think it's the my beauty diary mask with the most essence =3! The essence wasn't dripping but there was a lot of serum in the packaging, so I applied the leftovers on my whole neck. This can be positive but also negative. Some people like a lot of essence and some don't. I'm one the people who likes heaps of serum :).

Where to buy?
People in Holland & Belgium can buy it at my webshop: Peachies.

Ingredients
Water, glycerine, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, prunis armeniaca (apricot) fruit extract, avena sativa (oat) kernel extract, coix lacryma-jabi (job's tears)seed, triethanolamine, polysorbate 20, methyl paraben, hyaluronic acid, xanthan gum, sodium pca, citric acid, algae extract, centella asiatica extract, hydrolyzed rice protein, sorbitol, aloe barbadensis gel, gentiana lutea root extract, malva sylvestris (mallow) extract, saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract, acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract, citrus anrantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel extract, styrene acrylates copolymer, dimethylsilanol hyaluonate, carbomer, polyglutamic acid, sodium hydroxide, fragrance.

How to use
Clean your face and pat it dry. Throw away the plastic sheet. Unfold the sheet mask and put it on your face for 20-30 minutes. When it's time to pull the sheet mask off, you gently massage the excess tonic on your face & neck and wait till everything is absorbed. It probably will feel a bit sticky at the beginning, but just let it absorb.

My opinion
It does do what it says: it moisturizes, softens, smoothens the skin. The fit of the mask was good for my face =). A few things that I really liked about this mask were the nice, sweet apricot scent and the light cooling effect. It felt fresh and cool when I had the mask on. This mask is definitely good for people with a normal to dry, combination dry & dry to dehydrated skin. Sooooo yes, this mask is recommended!

Review: Silk Whitia - Hanfang firming mask

Description on the packaging - what does it claims
The rich content of natural citric Acid and Malic Acid extracted from Fructus Schisandrae Essence effectively refine pores. Ginseng Extract, Vitamin E and collagen soothe fine lines, revitalize the skin and postpone aging, restoring the skin to become fine, firm, supple and radiant.

Price
Sasa is selling it for $16.60 per box. 1 box comes with 5 masks which means that 1 mask costs $3.32, that's quite expensive for masks though. However, Sasa often have a buy 1 get 1 free deal which means that you will get 10 masks for $1.66 per mask. It's out of stock at Sasa at the moment, so you won't be able to buy it now.

Packaging
The packaging is purple with a cherry? on it. It looks very simple and neat. Like all the other masks, you have to tear the packaging open to get the mask out.

The texture & scent
These masks are more thick and softer compared to the My Beauty diary masks (natural line). The mask came folded and it was drenched in essence. There was lots of serum on it, the essence was even dripping so I recommend to put a tissue under it while unfolding the mask. The serum was also sticky >.<' that's the reason why you have to wash it after after 20 minutes. This mask didn't have a scent and the fitting was good for my face.

These pictures were taken after I left it on my face for 20 minutes. As you can see, the Silk Whitia mask is thicker than the My Beauty Diary mask.

Ingredients
Fructus Schisandrae Essence, Wheat Germ Protein, Ginseng Extract, Vitamin E, Betaine, Propylene Glycol. On the packaging it says that the material is from France and the Plants Essence is from Hong Kong.

How to use
Place the firming mask onto cleansed skin and leave it on face for 15 - 20 minutes, then remove and rinse face with water. Use daily for best results.

My opinion
I wanted to try this mask since Fuzkittie highly recommended this mask. Lol watching Youtube videos ain't good, it makes me want to buy a lot of products hahah. Anyways, back to my opinion of this product. This is the first mask that I've tried of this brand, so I was excited to try it out. This mask doesn't have many ingredients which can be a good thing. It's quite expensive though. I would buy it if Sasa has a great deal again, but I wouldn't buy this mask for the normal price ($16.60 per box). My experience with this mask is good. After I pulled the mask off after 20 minutes, my face felt stiff, i guess that's the firming effect ^_^. After washing my face, it felt moisturized and firm. I loved the result, this mask really worked after using it only once. If you want to purchase Silk Whitia masks, I definitely would recommend this one.

My Beauty Diary Hello Kitty masks & Love ♥ Package

Most of you already know that My Beauty Diary(我的美麗日記) collaborates with hello kitty. The only place that I know where they are selling it is at Ebay and they are selling it for $18 per box. It's quite pricey for My Beauty Diary masks huh? But OMG, look how CUTE the packaging is!!!! The pink box contains strawberry milk masks and the yellow box contains honey strawberry masks. Have you tried these sheet masks already ^___^? I recently received a love package from Vicky (from Vanity Fashionista) and can you guess what she had sent me? Scroll down to see it \^o^/!

Review: Blooming of Beauty - Peruvian Sunflower

I've tried a lot of My beauty diary masks from their natural key line already. I recently tried the peruvian sunflower mask of the My Beauty Diary Blooming of Beauty series. The Blooming of Beauty line is separate from the the natural key line and it has a different packaging, formula and price tag. These are limited edition masks and are quite hard to find on the internet & in stores. A friend of mine bought these masks for me while she was in Hong kong last month :). Besides the peruvian sunflower mask, they also have:
1. Japanese Hydrangea Mask – Oil Control & Soothing
2. French White Lily Mask – Whitening & Soothing
3. Formosa White Phalaenopsis Mask – Whitening & Evens skin tone
4. Vienna Black Tulip Mask – Firming & Soothing
5. Coldstone Damask Rose Ice cream mask - Brightening, Moisturizing & improves skin radiance (CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS ONE ^___^!)
The peruvian sunflower mask claims to be extremely moisturizing. It is suitable for all skin types.

Packaging
It has a very cute packaging ^=^, cuter than the natural key line packaging! As you can see it's yellow & orange and there is a small sunflower on it. I'm loving the ruffled top as well! Btw. one box comes with 5 masks.

Scent & Texture
It is lightly floral scented. I like the scent of this mask cause it smells so fresh ^o^. The amount of serum is just like the natural key line ones and there is yet enough serum for your neck. The size of the mask is the same as well. However, this mask felt a lot softer than the regular masks of My beauty diary which is a pro.

Ingredients
How to use
Clean your face and pat it dry. Throw away the plastic sheet. Unfold the sheet mask and put it on your face for 20-30 minutes. When it's time to pull the sheet mask off, you gently massage the excess tonic on your face and wait till everything is absorbed.

My opinion
It has a nice floral scent, it's moisturizing and the mask itself is very soft. However, I just expected to be more moisturizing compared to the natural key line masks. Unfortunately, these were below my expectations. This mask didn't blow me away, but I don't regret buying it either. My skin did feel soft after usage and it's overall a good mask, but I don't know if I would repurchase it since it's more expensive than the natural key line masks and I have enjoyed other masks more.

My rate for this mask is: ♥♥♥♥ 4/5
