I have finally tried the oh-so-hyped up sheet mask from Whamisa, which is the Real Kelp Sheet mask. I was excited to try this because I love to eat kelp in my soup and I like the scent of kelp as well. So 100% sea kelp in a sheet mask, yes please! In today's blogpost I am sharing my thoughts about it.

SexyLook - Hello Kitty Moisturizing & Brightening Mask
I purchased some Sexy Look Hello Kitty masks while I was in Hong Kong a while back. You probably have noticed that I don't post sheet mask reviews that often anymore. The reason for that is because of the whitening ingredients which were in the products that I used. Whitening products made my face very pale and after a while it didn't match with my neck and the rest of my body anymore lol. Therefore I reduced the usage of whitening products.
Instead of whitening sheet masks I tend to use moisturizing sheet masks more often. Today I'm reviewing the Sexy look Hello Kitty Hyaluronic Acid Brightening and Moisturising Mask. It has an adorable packaging!! I just couldn't resist it when I saw this at the drugstore since I'm a huge sucker for cute packaging. Lets start with the review shall we ;) ..

Sexy Look x Hello Kitty Limited Edition
Sexy Look
Sexy Look is a Taiwanese brand which became popular because of their earlobe sheet masks (I still want to try those btw.). I was looking at the July 2011 issue of Vivi and saw an ad about the new Hello Kitty skincare line of Sexy Look (see ad on the left). There aren't many information about this on the internet because they just launched it on the market. Click on the left picture to enlarge.
Where to buy?
The Hello Kitty skin care line can be purchased at the 7/11 stores in Taiwan. This line includes sheet masks, a sunscreen, dotting papers, a facial wash and more. I would love to try these products, but it's so expensive online. I saw that it was also sold on Ebay, user: Beauty Beyong Boutique, but it's EXPENSIVE there though.
You can see two types of sheet masks of Sexy Look in the picture below ^___^. The picture is taken by a blogger who was visiting Taiwan. There are 5 masks in each box, it sure looks very CUTE ^o^~!

Review: My Beauty Diary - Southern France Apricot
Haven't done a sheet mask review for a while ^^". The previous my beauty diary review was the peruvian sunflower sheet mask. Today I'm going to review the Southern France Apricot mask. This mask is suitable for normal skin. It is especially recommended for dry skin and combination skin that tends towards dryness. Yes it should be a very suitable mask for me~!!
Description
My Beauty Diary Southern France Apricot Mask softens, smooths and highly moisturizes the skin. Apricot extract from southern France provides excellent moisturizing effect. It quenches the thirst of skin, leaving dry skin keenly comfortable. The skin surface will be inscrutably velvety to the touch. Added with extracts of highly moisturizing grain, such as oat, job's tears and hydrolyzed rice protein, it gives more in-depth nourishing and nursing effect to dry skin. The stratum corneum is fully soaked in moisturizing ingredients. It maintains skin’s suppleness, elasticity, fairness and clearness.
Packaging
The packaging is orange and the words at the back are silver. It has a few apricots on the box and on the packaging. It just looks simple & neat :), nothing to complain about.
The scent and structure
Once I opened the packaging I could directly smell a light & sweet apricot scent ^o^. Whoaa~ it smelled good, it's the scent that I expected! The mask itself is thin and it has heaps of serum on it. I think it's the my beauty diary mask with the most essence =3! The essence wasn't dripping but there was a lot of serum in the packaging, so I applied the leftovers on my whole neck. This can be positive but also negative. Some people like a lot of essence and some don't. I'm one the people who likes heaps of serum :).
Where to buy?
People in Holland & Belgium can buy it at my webshop: Peachies.
Ingredients
Water, glycerine, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, prunis armeniaca (apricot) fruit extract, avena sativa (oat) kernel extract, coix lacryma-jabi (job's tears)seed, triethanolamine, polysorbate 20, methyl paraben, hyaluronic acid, xanthan gum, sodium pca, citric acid, algae extract, centella asiatica extract, hydrolyzed rice protein, sorbitol, aloe barbadensis gel, gentiana lutea root extract, malva sylvestris (mallow) extract, saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract, acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract, citrus anrantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel extract, styrene acrylates copolymer, dimethylsilanol hyaluonate, carbomer, polyglutamic acid, sodium hydroxide, fragrance.
How to use
Clean your face and pat it dry. Throw away the plastic sheet. Unfold the sheet mask and put it on your face for 20-30 minutes. When it's time to pull the sheet mask off, you gently massage the excess tonic on your face & neck and wait till everything is absorbed. It probably will feel a bit sticky at the beginning, but just let it absorb.
My opinion
It does do what it says: it moisturizes, softens, smoothens the skin. The fit of the mask was good for my face =). A few things that I really liked about this mask were the nice, sweet apricot scent and the light cooling effect. It felt fresh and cool when I had the mask on. This mask is definitely good for people with a normal to dry, combination dry & dry to dehydrated skin. Sooooo yes, this mask is recommended!

Review: Blooming of Beauty - Peruvian Sunflower
I've tried a lot of My beauty diary masks from their natural key line already. I recently tried the peruvian sunflower mask of the My Beauty Diary Blooming of Beauty series. The Blooming of Beauty line is separate from the the natural key line and it has a different packaging, formula and price tag. These are limited edition masks and are quite hard to find on the internet & in stores. A friend of mine bought these masks for me while she was in Hong kong last month :). Besides the peruvian sunflower mask, they also have:
1. Japanese Hydrangea Mask – Oil Control & Soothing
2. French White Lily Mask – Whitening & Soothing
3. Formosa White Phalaenopsis Mask – Whitening & Evens skin tone
4. Vienna Black Tulip Mask – Firming & Soothing
5. Coldstone Damask Rose Ice cream mask - Brightening, Moisturizing & improves skin radiance (CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS ONE ^___^!)
The peruvian sunflower mask claims to be extremely moisturizing. It is suitable for all skin types.
Packaging
It has a very cute packaging ^=^, cuter than the natural key line packaging! As you can see it's yellow & orange and there is a small sunflower on it. I'm loving the ruffled top as well! Btw. one box comes with 5 masks.
Scent & Texture
It is lightly floral scented. I like the scent of this mask cause it smells so fresh ^o^. The amount of serum is just like the natural key line ones and there is yet enough serum for your neck. The size of the mask is the same as well. However, this mask felt a lot softer than the regular masks of My beauty diary which is a pro.

My opinion
It has a nice floral scent, it's moisturizing and the mask itself is very soft. However, I just expected to be more moisturizing compared to the natural key line masks. Unfortunately, these were below my expectations. This mask didn't blow me away, but I don't regret buying it either. My skin did feel soft after usage and it's overall a good mask, but I don't know if I would repurchase it since it's more expensive than the natural key line masks and I have enjoyed other masks more.
My rate for this mask is: ♥♥♥♥♥ 4/5

FaceQ sheet masks haul
I'm a sucker for cute packaging!!! I bought some Face Q masks to try and I really like the cute packaging of it ^___^! The masks are produced by PPC Life, a Taiwanese pharmaceutical company. It's the company that also produces My Beauty Diary sheet masks and SKIN 79 products. Each mask has different ingredients and different effects to the skin. Face Q masks are made of 100% wood pulp material and it claims to be two times more hydrating than normal sheet masks. I will review these masks soon ^____^~
From left to right:
- Ocean & Aloe Vera mask (blue packaging)
- Grape Seed & Green Tea mask (purple packaging)
- Red Pomegranate & COQ10 mask (pink packaging)
- Luffa & Adlay mask (green packaging)
Face Q added these 2 masks by the end of 2010. The shape of these masks are slightly different than the other ones. These will also cover the neck area.
- Peony, Snow Lotus and Sake Yeast Whitening Mask (yellow packaging)
- Caviar and Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Mask (dark blue packaging)
pictures found through google search.

Review: My Beauty Diary - Pearl Powder Mask
Today I've tried the Pearl Powder sheet mask of My Beauty Diary (我的美麗日記面膜). According to their website, it is the 3rd best mask of their MBD natural key line. This mask is especially for people with a damaged and dull skin.
Main ingredients
- Amino acids, trace elements: penetrated through interior layer of skin, creates soft, fair look with radiance
- Vitamin-B, seaweed: activates and nourishes skin
What does it promise?
Softens, whitens, activates and nourishes skin.
Price & Where to buy?
I purchased this at Sasa.com for € 8.70, which isn't expensive at all. One box comes with 10 individually sheet masks. I highly recommend Sasa.com because they have a large assortment and the prices of the products that they are selling are affordable. They also sell a lot of other My Beauty Diary sheet masks ^^.
Packaging
It has a white packaging with yellow bows and pearls on it- cute packaging ^^. You need to tear it open to get the mask out. Like all of the other MBD sheet masks, there is a plastic sheet folded into the sheet mask- throw the white paper away :).
The scent and texture
The mask has the scent of a cream which is ok :). The texture of the mask is thin as you can see on the picture and it's soft as well. The fit of the mask is just right for me :).
How to use
Clean your face and pat it dry. Unfold the sheet mask and put it on your face for 20-30 minutes. There is a lot of serum on the mask but it's not dripping. I had it on for 40 minutes or so lol xD. The sheet mask is cold and it feels very refreshing and moisturizing. When it's time to pull the sheet mask off, you gently massage the excess tonic on your face and wait till everything is absorbed.
My opinion
♥ Repurchase? Yes :)
This is the third My Beauty Diary mask that I've tried. After I took the mask off I could directly see the brightening effect, but NOT the whitening effect. Is that a pro or a con? Well, I don't like products which makes me very white since I'm white enough already^^. So I would say that it's a pro for me that the whitening effect isn't visible. However, this might be visible if you put this mask every day. Another thing that I like about the pearl powder mask is that it's very moisturizing and my skin felt very soft after usage. I would definitely recommend this mask to people with a dull and dry skin.
My rate for this mask is: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5/5
