This is the Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask Ex and I will be sharing my review about this product in today's blogpost. I have been wanting to try Sulwhasoo products for a long time and I finally got the chance to do so. This mask runs out very quickly in every online shop and I finally know why, since it's that good!

Review: Charcoal mask / Natural Pack from Daiso

I've wanted to try this product for a very LONG time. I've seen it on many blogs before and it looked so fun xD. I finally had the chance to buy it while I was in Hong Kong. This product is called Natural Pack, people also call it the charcoal mask. Nose packs are often made of charcoal. This Natural pack is formulated with the natural ingredients from Oak trees. On the packaging it promises to remove the oil on the face and clean the pores deeply. It leaves your skin clearer with less visible pores. Is this really true? Lets try it out ^___^!

Review: Dr. van der Hoog Mango Meloen masker

In this blogpost I will be reviewing the mango melon mask of the Dutch brand Dr. van der Hoog. People in The Netherlands should know this well-known brand ^__^. This mango melon mask has soothing & moisturizing properties and is suitable for sensitive skintypes. Eventhough I have a combination dry skin, I'm going to try this mask anyways because I love mango hehehe ♥.

DIY Avocado & Honey Hydrating Mask

Yesterday I tried a DIY avocado face mask. As y'll know avocados are great for you. They are super rich in vitamins and minerals, especially Vitamins A and K which will brighten the skin. This mask also should be moisturizing & nourishing, which is suitable for people with a normal to dry skin. Since I have a combination dry skin I wanted to try it out and see if it's really that good. Homemade masks are usually inexpensive and everybody can make it because it's easy as well ^___^.

All you need is:
- 1/4 medium ripe avocado
- 2 tbsp. of honey
- a bowl
- a fork or a mixer
- a brush

Step 1: Clean your face.
Step 2: Put the 1/4 avocado into a bowl and mash the avocado with a fork or put it in the mixer.

Step 3: Add 2 teaspoon of runny honey and keep mashing the avocado.
Step 4: Apply the mask with your brush. Spread a thick coat of the mask on your face and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth.

My opinion
Well, did this mask really work for my skin? To be honest, I didn't like this mask at all. It did feel fresh at the beginning and it did make my skin soft afterwards but NOT moisturizing. After I washed it away with warm water it not only felt dry, it was itchy as well! I think that I'm allergic to something somehow o__O'. It was quite weird, because I'm not allergic to anything normally. This is the first time that I tried an avocado mask and my skin didn't feel good at all. Thankfully, I didn't get a break out from it though. My sis had also tried this DIY mask before but it felt moisturizing and soft on her skin =/. Hmmm... have you girls tried this homemade mask before?

Review: Dr. van der Hoog Cocos Mint masker

Today I'm going to review the coconut mint mask of the Dutch brand Dr. van der Hoog. Last time I reviewed the chocolate mask of this brand. I wanted to try the coconut mint mask as well, since I like the scent of coconuts ^__^! This mask has moisturizing and refreshing properties. It's a cream mask with coconut milk, peppermint extracts and pro vitamin B5. After usage your skin will feel soft and clean. This is suitable for all skin types.

Packaging & Price
This mask costs €2.05 and there is 10 ml in it which is quite alot. All you have to do is, tear the packaging open and use a brush or your fingers to apply the mask on the face. (I used a cheap brush btw.) The packaging is green, brown, white and there are coconuts on it.

Scent & Texture
Once you open the packaging, you will smell the nice scent of coconuts. If you don't like coconuts, I don't recommend you to try this mask xD. It's a white and medium thick cream mask with tiny GREEN beads which are mint pieces. (Sadly, you can't really see that it's green on the picture.)

How to use
Put a thick layer on a clean skin. Leave the eyes and mouth area open. Wait for 10 - 15 minutes. When it's time, wash the mask off with lukewarm water.

My opinion
I really liked the coconut scent of this mask and it felt very refreshing ^__^. However, this mask wasn't moisturizing enough for my skin, since it felt a bit dry after usage (AHHH >.<"! My skin is always so dry!!). However, I just used my day cream after it and my skin felt clean, fresh and moisturizing again :).

Review: Queen Helene - Mud Pack Masque

I've read many many good reviews about the masks from Queen Helene, like the Mint Julep Masque and the Mud Pack Masque. They didn't sell the mint julep masque in the store where I was, so I decided to try the mud pack masque.

Price
I bought it for €4.95 at an African store (Afro shop) in Amsterdam. It's a large tube, so you can use it for a long time. It's quite inexpensive for such a large tube. There is 226.8 g - 8 oz. in it.

Packaging
It's in a tube where you have to squeeze the mask out. I don't really like the opening of it, because the mask will stick at the opening, see picture below.

Color, texture and scent

The color is brown/salmon. It's a clay mask and the texture is quite thick, but it dries pretty fast compared to other clay masks that I've used before. I really don't like the scent of this mask. It has a strong fragrance which I don't like, it just smells like old grannies or something.., it's hard to describe the scent of this mask xD lol. You will smell it once you open it. However, it smells less bad when you have the mask on which is good :) 




Ingredients
Water (Aqua), Kaolin, Bentonite, Glycerin, Zinc Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Iron Oxides (CI#77492), Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben. No animal ingredients, not tested on animals.

How to use?
Cleanse your face and neck thoroughly. Apply the mask generously and wait about 15 minutes to allow the mask harden. I waited till my mask was completely harden which was about 20 minutes and I had put a thick layer on my face. When it was time, I removed the mask with warm water and a washcloth.

Want to see a gross but cool picture? LOL .. are you sure? .. You are warned it's really GROSS!! When it's dry, you can see the impurities that have been soaked up by the mask, so all of your pores will be visible and I have LOTS of pores on my nose..  Check my pores out on my nose and chin - really EWWWWW~ GROSSSS!! XD LOL But this really gave me the feeling that it worked and it did!

My opinion
When I applied the mask, it started to sparkle a little bit, but that feeling was gone after a few seconds. It's a really GOOD mask which does what it claims. My pores were very clean after I washed the mask off. It did tighten my skin, but it also felt a little bit dry. This product is definitely worth buying, it's inexpensive for such a large tube and it works! The only large con of this mask is the smell. I really couldn't stand the scent of it when I opened the mask, but I'm happy that the scent is less bad when you have the mask on. I really want to try the Mint Julep mask from Queen Helene, I've read tons of good reviews about that mask as well ^_^.

My rate: ♥♥♥♥♥ 4.5/5 (only because of the smell)

Montagne Jeunesse Face Tonic: Dead Sea Mask Review

I bought a few mask from Montagne Jeunesse the other day: http://memorabledays-x3.blogspot.com/2010/11/new-mask-from-montagne-jeunesse.html. Last week I tried the Fruit smoothie mask and this week I'm going to try the Face Tonic: Dead Sea mask from Montagne Jeunesse.

Dead Sea Anti-Stress Sheet Mask 
"Real Dead Sea nutrients and minerals submerge tired, stressed out skin in moisture leaving it smooth and re-hydrated, toned and visibly younger looking. It promotes a deep sensation of calm as mineral rich ingredients nourish body and soul." There is one sheet mask in it, so you can only use it once. Price: The sheetmask is around €2,20, but I bought it for €1.-, since it was on sale at a Dutch drugstore. I think that €2.20 is quite expensive for only one sheet mask.


How to use?
Remove your makeup, wash your face and pat it dry. Open the package and unfold the sheet mask (see picture above). You have to detach the material from the mouth section (see picture on the left) and place it over your nose. Lean back, relax and put the sheet mask on your face, pat it down for maximum contact. Leave the mask for 5-10 minutes and enjoy the flotation sensation of dead sea minerals. After 5 till 10 minutes, remove and gently massage the excess tonic on your face. Splash your face with cool water and pat it dry.  


! Notice: this sheet mask can cause sensitivity. Every person has a different skin type, so its better to test this product first. I don't recommend this product to people with a sensitive skin. Apply a little face tonic to the inside of your upper arm first. Wait for 5 till 10 minutes- if a reaction occurs its better not to use this mask.

Scent and Material
The scent of the sheet mask doesn't stink, but it does reminds me of toilet spray or the smell of a cleaning agent o_O". The material of the sheet mask is like a cloth- it's strong, so it won't break that easily. And AGAIN the mask doesn't look similar to the one which is on the package. The sheet mask has purple flowers on it (see picture below) xD, so its not blue like on the package.

My opinion
♥ Repurchase? No
My skin started to sparkle a little bit after I applied the mask. I was like.. wow, what kind of mask is this xD lol, it didn't feel relaxing/calming at all. So those were the dead sea minerals? After 5 minutes the sparkling feeling stopped. On the package says that its a 5 minute mask, so that was it...?

It felt refreshing after those 5 minutes though, so I decided to leave it on my face for 20 minutes. (I always prefer to put it longer^^) After I splashed some cool water on my face, my skin felt very soft, refreshing and moisturized; which means that the result of this mask is good ^_^. 

My rate for this mask is: ♥♥♥♥♥ 2.7/5

A new mask from Montagne Jeunesse

I bought 6 masks from Montagne Jeunesse, I actually haven't tried these before.They were on sale at a Dutch drugstore (1 euro each), so I wanted to try it out :) 
There is a new mask from Montagne Jeunesse: Fruit Smoothie - with Crushed Raspberry and Mango. Hmm.. sounds nice right? It's for normal, dry and T-zone skin. It claims that it will clean your face deeply, it's fresh and it will give you a softer skin after using it. There is 20gram in it, enough to use it once. Oehhh~ I can't wait to try it out ^.^!

Watsons green tea sheet mask review

First of all, I-LOVE-SHEET-MASKS!

This time I tried the green tea sheet mask of Watsons~


Of course you have to read the instructions before you use it, especially if you're using it for the first time :) Your face has to be clean before applying the sheet mask. So make sure you wash your face first. The sheet mask looks like that (see picture on the right) when you open it.

Just simply unfold the sheet mask and put it on your face for about 20 minutes. I know it looks a bit scary when you have the sheet mask on hahaha I would love to scare you at night ='D gnagnagna!! During the 20 minutes, just relax, close your eyes and listen to some music :) The sheet mask feels so refreshing and it moisturizes my face! When I opened it, it didn't smell like green tea, it smelt more like a Chinese medicine. You will probably think EEWW THAT STINKS~ But its not! You won't even smell the scent when you have the sheet mask on =) It's a pity that it doesn't smell like green thee.

After the 20 minutes, remove the sheet mask, you don't need to clean your face again. Just let it dry and you can apply your night or day cream :)

I definitely will purchase this product again when I'm in Asia! These sheet masks are around 1 euros each! So, its not expensive at all!
