You probably have seen the latest nail art trend: Caviar Nails (fish egg nails)! Ciaté recently introduced the product into the market and it became a huge success partly thanks to famous bloggers and beauty guru's like Michelle Phan who promoted the product. The Caviar Nails Kit can be purchased at Sephora for $25.-. I know right, way too expensive for some micro beads! Caviar Nails can be simply created with just a few inexpensive materials. Chain Bracelets from Live Love Shop!

A few days ago I was talking about the DIY stackable bracelets. It seems that everybody loves them^^, at least I do haha! Anyways, people who are a bit lazy or who can't find the materials to create those bracelets will automatically buy them at (online) stores. I recently discovered the webshop Live-Love-Shop.com. It's a shop opened by Simmy who sells handmade jewelries. The owner was so kind to send me two items to review and I directly said yes because I'm loving the products that she's selling! Check the assortment out here: http://www.live-love-shop.com/collections/all.

I received a woven chain bracelet, she calls it the Friends Forever Cuff and a chain wrap bracelet which is called the Chain Reaction Bracelet on her website. Both are looking gorgeous!

It's just for inspiration, it blows my mind that it's so easy to create these bracelets and it looks so colorful and nice at the same time! With some inexpensive material you can create something very pretty and normally these will cost more than €20.- in stores, so you can save plenty of money as well if you're going to make this yourself ;). However, if you're lazy to create it or if you don't have the material for it, just buy it from the stores haha.

DIY: I've finally tried the Oatmeal Cleanser!

After I had seen the video from Bubzbeauty where she explained how to use Oatmeal as a cleanser, I directly wanted to try it out... however, I just didn't have the time to do it. Lots of Bloggers have tried it already and they all wrote a good review about it. It definitely attracted me to try it out myself because I'm still searching for a moisturizing cleanser which doesn't leave a tight feeling on my face. I recently had the time to try it and I have to say ..... well, just continue with reading ;).

DIY Avocado & Honey Hydrating Mask

Yesterday I tried a DIY avocado face mask. As y'll know avocados are great for you. They are super rich in vitamins and minerals, especially Vitamins A and K which will brighten the skin. This mask also should be moisturizing & nourishing, which is suitable for people with a normal to dry skin. Since I have a combination dry skin I wanted to try it out and see if it's really that good. Homemade masks are usually inexpensive and everybody can make it because it's easy as well ^___^.

All you need is:
- 1/4 medium ripe avocado
- 2 tbsp. of honey
- a bowl
- a fork or a mixer
- a brush

Step 1: Clean your face.
Step 2: Put the 1/4 avocado into a bowl and mash the avocado with a fork or put it in the mixer.
Step 3: Add 2 teaspoon of runny honey and keep mashing the avocado.
Step 4: Apply the mask with your brush. Spread a thick coat of the mask on your face and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth.

My opinion
Well, did this mask really work for my skin? To be honest, I didn't like this mask at all. It did feel fresh at the beginning and it did make my skin soft afterwards but NOT moisturizing. After I washed it away with warm water it not only felt dry, it was itchy as well! I think that I'm allergic to something somehow o__O'. It was quite weird, because I'm not allergic to anything normally. This is the first time that I tried an avocado mask and my skin didn't feel good at all. Thankfully, I didn't get a break out from it though. My sis had also tried this DIY mask before but it felt moisturizing and soft on her skin =/. Hmmm... have you girls tried this homemade mask before?

DIY Lip Scrub With Honey & Sugar

During the cold days you will easily get dry lips and get flakes >.<" EEK...! Putting heaps of vaseline on it won't remove the flakes. However, don't waste your money on lip scrub products. You can easily make one at home within 1-2 minutes. All you need is an empty bowl/plate, a spoon, a small empty container, honey and brown or white sugar. Most of the people will have this at home.

You will need:
1 teaspoon of brown or white sugar
1 teaspoon of honey

Mix it together with your spoon and it will look like this:
Check the consistency, if you want it more abrasive add more sugar. If you want it less abrasive add some more honey ;). And voila~ here is your lip scrub. Put a bit of lip scrub on your fingers and scrub it on your lips for a few seconds (you can also use a toothbrush instead of your fingers). When you're done remove it with a wet towel and put some lip balm on your lips to moisturize it again. Your lips will feel smooth, soft and flakes free. It's really a cheap and effective lip scrub ^__^. With that amount you can use the scrub for like 2-3 times. You can leave the rest of the lip scrub in an empty container and you can use it the next time again.

Don't use this scrub when you have a wound around the lip area or if you have herpes labialis.
