MEMEBOX x PONY Eyeshadow Palette - Shine Easy Glam
MEMEBOX collaborates with Pony (Park Hye Min)! You might recognize her from youtube channel InsiteTV where she shows lots of make up tutorials. I love her make up creations since it's often wearable on a daily basis. She will release a 8 color eyeshadow palette together with MEMEBOX called Shine Easy Glam, on the 24th of September 2014.

After School's Korean Beauty Bible - Korean Beauty Tips
I recently discovered this new Korean Beauty show called After School's Beauty Bible. The show is originally broadcast on KBSW, and they started to sub the episodes on the KBS World TV youtube channel (HURRAY for English subs!). It's not like the Korean show Get it Beauty, it's a reality format show where the girls from K-pop girl group After School talk about beauty products, tips and trends, but also workout tips!
To be honest I don't really like the "reality format", I usually scroll through the video to check out the tips and tricks haha. Some videos are more interesting than others but they do mention some useful tips in their videos. Check them out!

VIDEO: Roses Nail Tutorial - Nail Shop Paris - Dramafever
Can you remember that i told you (on facebook and twitter) that i was busy with a small project? Well girls, I'm going to tell you more about it today ^^. I recently was contacted by Dramafever.com which is a very popular website where people in North and South America can watch Taiwanese and Korean dramas with eng subtitles. Recently there is a new Kdrama out which is called Nail Shop Paris. This drama is related to nail art so they decided to find a few nail art bloggers/youtubers to create nail art creations inspired by this Kdrama. I was so happy that they chose me and of course I said YES lol.
Another big announcement is that I started with my own Youtube Channel! "WAIT, WHAT? NO WAY" ... Haha, yes! It was about time right? Anyways, I'm quite new to all the editing stuff, but i will try to create more nail art tutorials for you girls :). Make sure to subscribe to my channel - KawaiiPeachies. Lets move on to the tutorial!

The Perception of Beauty
The video in this blogpost has been going around on Twitter for the past few days and I wanted to share it with my readers as well. Some of you might say: "omg how fake, this is just another commercial from Dove". Yes it is a commercial, yes it is probably fake, but we musn't forget the message that they wanted to bring with the commercial. It has a touching message in it - a message that most of us forget.
It's an interesting and beautiful video showing the differences between our own perception of ourselves, compared to how others see us. I was always curious how other people look at me and how my first impression was to others. We see the flaws, every little detail where others cannot. Just look at the video below and you will understand what i'm talking about.

Chinese Make Up Gurus on Youtube [Part 1]
A while ago I wrote a blogpost about Korean make up gurus on Youtube and I had great responses about that blogpost. Since this topic was a success, I wanted to share some Chinese make up gurus on Youtube that I'm following. Ofcourse we all know some famous Chinese make up gurus already, like Bubzbeauty but there are way more, here are some:
1. BeautyQQ
My ultimate favorite Chinese make up guru, Queenie! I've mentioned her a gazillion times on my blog before and I still love her videos ^.^. I love her beauty tips, tutorials and DIY's. She often shows Asian beauty products in her tutorials, which somehow influences me to purchase lol. Unlike some beauty guru's she doesn't make sponsored videos which I like. Queenie speaks Chinese in her vids but there is often English subs so you don't need to worry that you are not able to understand it.

Korean Make up Gurus on Youtube Part 1
I have been following many Korean Make Up Gurus on Youtube. I first didn't know that there were so many Korean girls who are making make up videos on Youtube! One of the first ones that I've been following are Catalina aka CL2425 and ElisaSung. I'm sure you've heard of these names before, but do you know any other Korean make up gurus? Let me share a few channels which I've been following for a while now:
1. Beautifymeeh
She is called Angel and is one of my favorites out of the Korean Youtubers. She was born in the US but her parents are Korean. Her videos are of amazing quality: good swatches, great lighting, good focus on the products and she talks clearly. She often shows Korean & Japanese products in her videos which attracts me the most.
I recently wrote part 2 of this blogpost, check it out here: http://www.memorable-days.net/2013/03/korean-make-up-gurus-on-youtube-part-2.html.

My Favorite Fashion Youtubers
These are a couple of my favorite Fashion Youtubers. There are a lot of them and in this blogpost I'm going to show you my favorites! Some of them don't have many followers yet, but they are definitely worth to follow! The most important of fashion videos are mostly the quality of the video (HQ!), the type of fashion, lighting, the music, how the video is edited and the person who is in the video. When all of the above things are good, I usually will automatically follow that Youtuber.
1. Wendyslookbook
I just love her! I love her style, I love how she's like super happy in every video, the quality of her videos are always GOOD! The editing is awesome as well o_o"! Do I need to say more? She started on Youtube 9 months ago and has more than 83,000 subscribers already! Check this video out where she was in NYC together with Lindi, Bubzbeauty.

Today I'm going to share a few hair tutorials for medium length hair/ shoulder length hair. That's right, there are many tutorials online, not only for long hair but also hair which are shorter! Who says that you can't do anything with it if it's short?
1. The Beauty Department
I totally love this blog and their Youtube videos. This blog is created by 3 girls, Laura, Kristin and Amy. Sometimes they will share a hair tutorial on their channel which is mostly for long hair. However, they also posted one for short hair a few months ago, it looks so easy and pretty ^__^ check it out:

Awesome/ Scary Looks for Halloween - Get inspired!
It's almost Halloween and the scary tutorials on Youtube are coming online one by one. Some are so cute and creative & some scared the hell out of me but are so awesome at the same time. It's a pity that we don't celebrate Halloween in The Netherlands. It would be so much fun to wear a costume of one of our favorite characters ^^. I've found some awesome Halloween make up tutorials on Youtube which I really wanted to share with you guys, just watch:
1. Ryuk make up & costume (death note)
This one is done by Youtuber QueenBeeuty. It was hilarious when I saw it at the first time. It's so scary but awesome at the same time. She really did a good job and I'm sure that it took heaps of time to do this.

Summer hair tutorials for long hair
People with long hair can do a lot with their hair. They can have a lot of different hairstyles, but they just don't know how to do it. In this blogpost I will share some Youtube videos with a few hairstyle tutorials for the summer. These 3 hairstyle guru's have a lot of videos with different kind of hairstyles which are suitable for long & short hair.
1. Lilithedarkmoon
Hairstyle guru Lilith models for different hair salons in Paris. She participates in shows, workshops and trainings where the latest trends in hair styling are presented. Lilith has 100 videos on her channel which are all related to hair and it's mostly for people with medium to long hair. This is probably the only channel I know with the most hairstyle tutorials and they are easy to follow as well. In this video below you will see the waterfall braid hair tutorial:

Fascinating videos - brilliant pieces of marketing!
As some of you might know... I have a strong passion for marketing. I love to watch commercials, especially the ones that are inspiring, the ones that makes you laugh and the ones where you will say "AWESOME!". I often go to this website: http://adsoftheworld.com, which is a website where you can see creative ads around the world, hence the name of the website. Every month they will select the best commercials. I am sharing a few videos in this blogpost where you can enjoy some brilliant pieces of marketing.
Do some grocery shopping while you're waiting for the subway!
When grocery chain Tesco wanted to expand their market share in South Korea, they came up with a brilliant idea. Because the people in South Korea work long hours they thought of an efficient way to sell their products. The Korean subsidiary Home Plus put up billboards in subway stations with their range of products, accompanied by QR or Quick Response codes. All people had to do now is scan the QR codes with their cell phone and the groceries were delivered to their doorsteps. Really.. they should do this in every country lol, it would save so much time haha.

Decode Jay Z with Bing!
Prior to the release of his autobiography, Decoded, Jay Z collaborated with Bing! to create a campaign that’s simply brilliant! The campaign set to release every page of the book and place them all over the world putting the entire biography in context. What makes this campaign special is that the pages weren’t just placed on your average billboard or bus stop. Pages were put onto a Cadillac and even stitched in to the lining of custom Gucci jackets. Bing tied every element of the campaign together, creating an online game. Clues to the locations of the pages were released via Social Media platforms and people all over the world could log onto Bing and use their search and maps functionality to find all the pages of the book.

Isn't it fascinating? These are just brilliant pieces of marketing! There are so many companies nowadays. The important thing for a company is that you need to know how to stand out!

Mascara Commercials - Don't Get Fooled!
Seriously, when you look at most of the mascara TV commercials. Do you really think that the mascara will create that extra volume? Do you really think that the mascara will create that extra length? I don't... I only think that the wand of the mascara looks cool lol, but I never bought a mascara after watching a TV commercial, because I know I will be disappointed afterwards. Most of the time you won't get the same effect like in the TV commercials, so don't get fooled by it!
Have you ever purchased a mascara after watching a mascara ad?
I'm really getting tired of the mascara ads now-a-days, because the models in the commercials are usually wearing fake eyelashes, extensions or it's just photoshopped. (I don't say that all mascara ads are fake, just many of them.) It's all misleading and exaggerated, just like this one:

All of her videos just makes me smile because she's always so happy and crazy, it's such an awesome person ^___^. Today, she uploaded a video called Creative Beauty. It's a video with a lot of beauty tips. She mentions many things that you would never think of, such as making your own nail polish, lip gloss, covering your grey hair with mascara ?! lol.. She speaks Chinese in this video, but there are English subtitles, so you're all able to understand it. Check her video out:
