Cutting my hair at Salon B in Utrecht

Today I am sharing my new haircut! I recently went to Salon B in Utrecht and the talented hairdresser Iris van der Heijden cut my hair. My hair was extremely long and damaged due to curling every day and due to dyeing so a haircut and a hair treatment was must needed.

Zenner Event - Fall/Winter Collection 2013 & byTom Items

A few days ago I attended the Zenner event. Zenner is a famous company in The Netherlands that sells hair accessories. The event was held at one of the dressing rooms of the La Mar Theatre in Amsterdam. It was my first time there and it was such a gorgeous place ^o^. Together with 8 other beauty bloggers I was able to see the new collections of Zenner and the new items from Tom Sebastian, which is a well-known beauty guru here in my country. In today's blogpost I will show you a few pictures that I took during the event.

Het event werd gehouden in de La Mar theater in Amsterdam. Ik was daar voor het eerst en ik was zo verbaast hoe mooi het wel niet van binnen was ^o^ echt een schitterende locatie! Het event werd gehouden in een kleedkamer van het theater. Samen met 8 andere beauty bloggers had ik de kans om de nieuwste collecties van Zenner te bekijken en de nieuwe items van Tom Sebastian, een beroemde beauty guru in Nederland. Review: Hair Extensions from 1001Extensions.nl 18 inch

Hi girls ^^! Today I will be reviewing hair extensions from the website 1001extensions.nl. This website is selling clip in-, micro loop and pre-bonded hair extensions. They are available in different lengths, colors and types of hair (straight or wavy). In todays' blogpost I'm going to review the 18 inch (46 cm) clip in hair extensions, in the color darkest brown/ chocolate brown. These were sent to me for review purposes, so lets see how they are, ok? (btw. i look very thin in the picture below, it's just the angle and lighting i think, cus my face is larger in real hahah)

Review: Gatsby Moving Rubber Grunge Mat - Grey

Today I will be reviewing the popular Gatsby product - the moving rubber grunge mat. My Japanese hairdresser told me to use wax to create more volume in my hair, so i was wondering if this Korean hair wax would work. This product was sent to me by kawaiideluxe.nl, a shop that sells asian products, they have a small but nice assortment, check it out if you have time. Anyways, let me tell you how my hair actually is. My hair is very thin and flat. I always want to have heaps of volume at the top of my head, but this can be hard to create if i don't have a blow dryer or a tease comb next to me. Lets give it a try with the moving rubber from Gatsby ok?

Perfect Curl by BaByliss Pro - OMG! I GOT TO HAVE THIS!

Before I'm heading to bed I just wanted to share this with you girls. This video has been going around in the beauty blogging world in the past 2 days. The new product called Perfect Curl from Babyliss Pro seems to be A-MAZING! I was SOLD after watching the video! I definitely would love to try this out if it's available. It isn't sold in the market yet, but they have send it to the UK press and some UK bloggers already. One 'n Only Curling Iron from BeautyStopOnline

Today I will be showing you an interesting curling iron. It's called the One 'n Only Argan Heat curling iron and it's produced by BabyLissPro. Review: ESSENTIAL Ultra Honey & Shea Butter Hair Mask

Today I'm going to review the Ultra honey & Shea butter hair mask from Kao Essential. It's a product that you've probably seen on many blogs and I wanted to try this product for a very long time. I've been using this for two months and am very satisfied with it ^^. My hair isn't that long anymore so I don't have many split ends at the moment, but I did have a lot while I still got my long hair. I often color my hair, so it's important to use great hair products to repair it!

Essential has two product lines: Nuance airy (pink line) and Rich Premier (yellow line), both are made for damaged hair. The pink line is suitable for limp & flat hair and the other one is more for frizzy & tangled hair.

Review: Hair Extensions from Hairextensionsnow

I recently got mailed by Alexandra, the marketing manager of Hairextensionsnow.com to review some hair extensions from their shop. Hairextensionsnow is an online store based in the UK which sells hair extensions of the brand Clipinz®. You can find a large range of products at their store at low prices and free delivery on ALL items ^__^! As y’ll know I recently went to the hair salon to cut my hair. I wasn't very pleased with the outcome and I’m missing my long hair =(, so this is the best solution to get long hair again \^o^/. I was very excited to try these out since I had never tried hair extensions before. ALERT: Picture heavy and heaps of camwhoring pictures lol XD!

Shipping
They are shipping all products from the UK. I received the hair extensions in a week after they were shipped.

Packaging
The hair extensions were sealed in a plastic packaging, very hygienic! Besides, it also came with a letter and a small book with more information about the brand, Clipinz® and their assortment.

Color & length
I ordered #4 dark brown 18” hair extensions (18 inch is approximately 45 cm). I chose for natural hair and a half head set which has 3 pieces. It’s also possible to get a full head set (6 pieces), which will create even more volume. The color of the hair extensions looks exactly the same as the color of my own hair, Awesome xD~ Besides, the hair feels very soft & thin as well, you can really feel that it´s real hair. Btw. It's 100% human hair and don't ask me where the hair came from, since I don't know o___O" ...

They normally sell these for £49.99 at hairextensionsnow.com. However, there is an easter special at the moment where you can get 25%- 35% off! Please visit their website for more information ;). I don't think it's expensive at all since they are selling it  very expensive here in The Netherlands.

Clip-in
As you can see, the clips are light brown. You won't be able to see those when you have the extensions on. A half head set comes with 3 pieces. Each piece has 3 clips and they will keep the hair extensions in place when worn. Overall Length 18" x Width 7.5". It's heat friendly, so you can straighten or curl it if you want to. These hair extensions can also be washed :). 

How to apply hair extensions?
It's very easy to apply hair extensions. I applied the 3 pieces while watching the video below and I did it within 2 minutes ^__^. You can see in the pictures that it matches my own hair color perfectly, it looks like I'm pulling my own hair out haha scary~. My hair is very thin so I really needed these to add volume. Btw. I don't know why but I look kinda angry in this picture xD lol.

Before & After
You can't even see that I have hair extensions on since it matches my hair color and it has the same structure (it's thin). And NO I didn't photoshop any of these photo's! Can you find the differences =p ?

Hair color - lighting
It looks light brown in direct sunlight, but it is dark brown in daylight. I look like a ghost in the right picture, I'm so pale ahhh =[ !!! You usually can see the difference of the hair color when you use flash, but this time, you can't.

Review
After all of the camwhoring, it's finally time for my review! I first want to say: I LOVE IT! Really ^__^ LOVE IT! And I'm not saying this because it's sponsored, this is really my own opinion. The hair extensions are soft and it matches my hair color very well, it just blends in ^___^ which I like the most~ Nobody will notice that I'm wearing extensions ♥. I can't compare it with any other kind of hair extensions since I only tried these.

Dariya, Hair Magic Sheet

Its also called the Dariya fringe shaper. This is really one of the most useful hair tool I'm using and I really think that every girl should have this. This product was out in 2009, sorry that I'm blogging about it now XD its a bit late hahaha. Anyways.... While I was in Shanghai for my internship I remembered that my colleague wore this to work O_o" And everybody was asking her what kind of weird thing she had on her head lol. I saw her wearing that during a meeting we had and I was thinking "Who would wear this to work? hahahah it looked so silly "....
They come with the colors; blue, pink and gray. There are two sheets in one pack.

So what is it?
This product is a hair stabilizer. It has a rectangle shape and it is used to keep your hair back while washing your face, applying your make-up or whenever you need it. This hair tool is made of Velcro and it will stick onto your hair without messing it all up. This is a great pro of this product, cuz normally I'm using hair clips and those will leave traces on your hair and with this you won't have that.

How to use?
You need to slide this hair tool over your fringe and that's it :). You really need to slide it over your hair and not just stick on it. It really works great on my thin hair. My hair is very thin by the way. However, it also works fine for people with thick hair.

Tiny or giant hats?

These hats are looking so big on the pictures, but they are super tiny hihi^^.

Do you know youtube user: binosusume ?
It's a Japanese girl who is really really good in hair tutorials. But she never shows her whole face on youtube, so she always covers it with something. This hairdo on the left is done by watching one of the tutorials of binosusume. Check her youtube channel out by clicking on her name^^

Kawaii hair accessories: tiny hats
I bought these small accessories while I was in Hangzhou last year. However, a hat of this size is very hard to find, since most of the clothing stores are selling large ones. But, I don't wear them often anymore, cuz its quite hard for me to combine it with my clothes =/ and I'm just lazy to do my hair like that (on the picture) again xD haha.

Dyed my hair

Before: picture. I took this picture last week.

As you can see, I have got roots, which is soooo ugly ! Therefore I really wanted to dye my hair. I took this picture with flash on, it´s so orange o.o omg! Hideous.

I bought Garnier Nutrisse creme #43- Gold brown. It is quite dark, but I was tired of the orange color in my hair. I don't recommend this product for people who has a light color in their hair. As I said my hair was light brown/ a bit orange. And after I used this product, my hair wasn't completely the same color as on the package.

Result: After
I took this picture at night, so its a bit darker than the other pictures. I do like the color :) its just normal.
