Cinemagraphs - Moving Pictures

Around mid 2011 I found this website on tumblr which is called: From me to you and the website http://cinemagraphs.com. These two websites are from the same owner. From me to you is a photography blog and sometimes you will see a cinemagraph. These are animated GIF images where only a part is moving. I see more and more pictures on tumblr lately and I'm always surprised that something is moving in the picture while the rest isn't ^^. Here are a few, can you spot the moving parts?:

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?

I'm not going to talk about beauty or fashion stuff today. It's time to talk about something else ^^. I'm going to the movies today and it's a horror movie which is called Insidious. Lots and lots of people are saying that it's a very scary movie >.<". Well I've seen a bunch of scary movies in my life and The Grudge, Japanese version is probably the scariest movie I've ever seen. I actually wanted to put a picture of The Grudge in this blogpost LOL, but I thought that it was way too scary hahaha.. I probably wouldn't dare to visit my own blog again xD. I'm just going to put this stupid and funny picture instead xD. I typed the word: "grudge" at Google and I already got goosebumps while looking at the pictures =p yeah i know i'm such a pussy. When I was little I was scared of the movies Chucky and IT. I'm still scared of dolls and clowns >.<" btw omg~ so creepy.. Imagine that you will wake up with a scary doll next to you... AAAAH~!!

Do you have a pet at home?

No beauty blogpost today ^__^ Last week I went to my sisters place to chill. I almost forgot that she has a hamster. Meet this little girl, nibbit. Isn't she fluffy ^___^ ~~? When I see a hamster I always sing the hamtaro theme song in my head... lol.. I loved that serie when I was little xD!!!

Pets are always fun to play with at the beginning. However, it will be less fun after a year or so. People will neglect it after a while, because it became boring or you're just too busy with other stuff. Are you like that as well.....? Haha don't get me wrong, my sister isn't neglecting her hamster xD. I always wanted to have a puppy, but my parents didn't let me have one, because they were scared that I will neglect it after a while. However, I'm sure that I'm going to have one when I'm older ^__^~ puppies are way too cute!

Konapun - is it edible?

Konapun is a popular toy in Japan where you go through all the cooking steps to make small replica food items. Most of them aren't edible. With each toy set you can make different kinds of food like cakes, chicken nuggets, sushi etc. The kit comes with the ingredients and tools like tiny mixing bowls, a freezer, a stove, an oven and spoons. This was already sold in the market since 2006 till 2009. It seems that it's out of the market already. However, you can still buy it on ebay :).

I've seen these toy sets in Shanghai before where they sell Japanese products, but I never bought it. Such a pity cause when I'm looking at these videos I really want to make it as well ='D! Kona means powder and the main ingredient is powdered sodium alginate which is a fiber contained in seaweed. The fake food will rotten after a while. See RRCherrypie' videos below, it's just awesome to watch these videos and it's so cute, makes me think of cooking mama haha!! Look at those fish eggs o_o"! It says that the sushi's are edible - it's grape flavored jello, gummy candy and soft candy.

Usually when I sit in the bus, car, tram, metro or even when I walk I will look at the ads outside. I LOVE to watch/read it ^o^, some of them are informative, some are cool, some really make me laugh and some I don't get lol.. I'm a HUGE fan of .... ♥

I'm a huge fan of Rainie Yang 楊丞琳 ^_^ In case you don't know her, she's a famous Taiwanese singer. She also played in a lot of TWdrama's like Devil Beside You, Why Why Love, Miss no good, Momo love and Hi my sweetheart. I've watched them all and I loved it, I even watched it like 3 times or something lol ^_^. I became addicted to her drama's since I saw Devil beside you with Mike He.

I'm trying to collect all of her original albums ^_^ since most of her songs are awesome as well ♥ and guess what, I even wanted to have the same haircut like hers when I was little cause she had a wicked haircut at her album: Ren yi men任意門. She's just so adorable \^o^/! 

Chinese Food during New Year

By the end of the year my mom is making some Chinese food to give to friends and family. People in Hong Kong/China will eat this during Chinese New Year (in February). Do you eat this as well? Or do you recognize it?

蘿蔔糕 luo bo gao (Mandarin) | lo pak gou (Cantonese)
The Chinese turnip cake/radish cake. You can order this when you´re going to eat dimsum, Chinese people call it yumcha 飲茶. It´s one of my favorite food :). This is made from mashed daikon radish mixed with dried shrimp and pork sausage that are steamed and then cut into slices and pan-fried.

Do you like E-cards?

It's still Christmas here so, I hope y'll enjoying Christmas at the moment ^__^ I've received many E-cards and text messages with Merry Christmas :). Thank you ❤! In these couple of years I've noticed that many people prefer to send E-cards more than normal Christmas cards.

Jingle bells, Jingle Bells.. Jingle all the way~ Only one day left and it's Christmas already ^_^ time flies don't you think? Christmas is seriously one of my favorite holidays ^__^! I love all the pretty lightings outside and people on the streets seems to be very happy during Christmas... or is it just me? lol

What did you wish for Christmas this year? In my family we don't buy Christmas presents anymore since we are all grown ups with a job and can buy things for ourselves :). But we DO celebrate it ^__^, we are all going to eat at home with the whole family. I was in Shanghai last year celebrating Christmas with my friends at a French restaurant. That was nice and fun though, but I'm happy that I can celebrate it with my family again this year ^__^.

In love with Polaroid cameras ♥.

The item that I really really want for a long time is a Fujifilm Polaroid camera. My dad used to have one when I was little, but I don't know where it is now (To do list:  must search for it!). I really love it! You can just pull out your Polaroid camera, snap pictures and watch as the image slowly appeared in full vivid color o_o" oehh.. It's actually not that expensive, maybe around 150 euros? But it's those films which are making it darn expensive (1 euros per film). Since I can't buy it in Holland, I probably will buy this next year in Hong Kong ♥. (I don't want to buy this on Ebay)

This game looks so easy!

This game is called; I don't even game! It is quite addictive xD and it looks just so easy!
First level: It says joo need A key. so press A on your keyboard. No idea how many levels it has, 70+ levels I quess... I got stuck at level 36 or something hahaha xD Can you reach level 70?

Japanese commercials

I really loveeeeeeeeee to watch commercials \^o^/ !! Can you still remember the Heineken commercial? This one is a Dutch commercial by the way. I really had to laugh when I saw this one xD, look at those face expressions of those ppl! hahaha
