One of The Worst Cushion Foundations That I Have Tried

I wrote this review quite a while ago but I wasn't sure if I wanted to finish it but I decided to do it today. As the title already stated this is the worst cushion foundation that I have tried. Maybe it's just the one that I received but I actually doubt it. This is the Yves Rocher Pure Light Cushion Foundation. Want to know why this cushion foundation was rubbish, make sure to read this blogpost then. I say rubbish because I threw this right in the dust bin after trying it out.

YVES ROCHER PURE LIGHT CUSHION FOUNDATION
Don't get me wrong. I normally like products from Yves Rocher, I use their eye shadow palettes and body & hair products but I don't know what happened when they created this cushion? This is the Yves Rocher Pure Light Cushion Foundation in the shade beige 200 which is their lightest beige shade.

.
IT LOOKED ALL FINE AND THEN THIS HAPPENED....
Once I pressed on the cushion (and I didn't press hard), all the product was everywhere, the sponge was soaked even at the front of the sponge there was product. Just look at the below pictures, it just says it all. It is a bad quality sponge since it teared once I folded it. And I was folding it to apply the product at my nose area.

.
INGREDIENTS
It is fragrance free and paraben free. It contains babassu seed oil which makes your skin nourished.

.
SWATCHES
Okay, the packaging sucked, so I was hoping the formula would be good, but unfortunately the shade didn't fit my skin. Just like many other cushions and foundations from Western brands that I have tried are too orange for my skin, and this one isn't an exception. It's their lightest shade beige 200, but still too dark for my skin. Perhaps Rose 200 would be better for my skin. It does apply easily on the skin, it has a very liquid formula and the coverage is medium. It also gives a nice radiant finish but it does enhance dry areas too which are slightly visible in below pictures as well near my cheek and lip area.

During the day I got extremely oily, thanks to this cushion. It's not great for oily skintypes for sure or you need a very good powder on top of it.

.
WHERE TO BUY?
It's sold for €14,95 and is sold on their website.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I don't need to say much about the packaging, the sponge really sucks and the formula isn't the best for combination dry skin. It accentuates dry areas and the oily parts will be even more oily like a disco ball during the day. Don't bother getting this cushion girls, invest your money on something else.

note: this product was sent to me for review purposes, this didn't affect my opinion about the product. I didn't receive money to write about it, see disclaimer.
