Swatches: MAC Cosmetics Liptensity Lipstick - Smoked Almond

I love natural looking shades since I am still scared to go out with a bright red lip or purple lips. I am happy with a more natural shade. In today's blogpost I am swatching the Liptensity lipstick from MAC Cosmetics in the shade Smoked Almond. These became so popular in the end of 2016 and I wanted to know what the hype was about.

.
MAC COSMETICS LIPTENSITY LIPSTICK - SMOKED ALMOND
It has a gel formula that glides on smoothly, it claims to be long-wearing for 8 hours. Whats so special about the liptensity lipsticks is that the pigmentation is double as much as their normal lipsticks while leaving a moist and shiny finish, like a balm. The high pigmentation results in an extreme colour intensity, clarity and vibrancy. It gives an amazing satin finish in just one stroke.

SWATCH SMOKED ALMOND
Smoked almond is a bright rosebrown shade. This lipstick does what it claims, with just one stroke it gives an amazing pigmentation. It just feels like a balm. This shades looks natural on my white Asian skin and I love it. I am curious how the rest of the shades are. It feels moist and feels indeed just like a lip balm. It won't dry out or get into the lip lines like some lipsticks do which is definitely a plus. The only downside is the lasting power. It will transfer when drinking or eating so re-applying is needed. It will definitely not last for 8 hours.

WHERE TO BUY?
You can buy this at the MAC Cosmetics counters or on their website and it is sold for €25.-. In The Netherlands you can also purchase it at Douglas and De Bijenkorf.

note: this product was sent to me for review purposes, this didn't affect my opinion about the product. I didn't receive money to write about it, see disclaimer.
