Stick Menu at OyatsuCafe - Maxim Matcha Latte

Can you remember that I ordered some asian snacks from the website oyatsucafe.com before? If not, go to blogpost 1 and 2 to read it. Oyatsu Cafe has launched a stick menu of individual powdered drinks, which is a great way to try Japanese drinks without having to buy a whole box of Maxim or Blendy sticks. I've received a few from them so I'm going to try it out!

WHERE TO BUY AND PRICE
You can purchase these at oyatsucafe.com and the prices varies from USD $0.65 to USD $0.99 per stick. Go to their stick menu on their website, link here. They also sell it in boxes, link here. I think it's great that they sell it per stick, by this you are able to try out different flavours.

LETS TRY THE MAXIM GREEN TEA LATTE OUT
I was very curious about the Maxim matcha latte so I gave that a try first. As you can see below it's a powdered drink. I poured a bit of powder on my hand to show you the color, it really is green haha and you can definitely smell the scent of green tea when you open the stick.. hmmm smells good!

.
INSTRUCTIONS
There are Japanese instructions at the back but there is no ingredient list on the sticks, so you won't be able to know how many calories there are in one stick. The ingredient list is probably listed on the box, but not on the stick. Anyways, according to the instructions you can drink this as a hot drink or a cold drink. For a hot drink use 160ml of hot water and for an iced drink use 80ml of hot water and 4-5 ice cubes. You can use a small cup to get a strong flavour or a large cup to make the flavour less strong. Whatever you like... I'm going to drink it as a hot drink.

HOW DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
I'm loving the green color of this drink ^^. It's so easy to make as well, you only need to add hot water haha, great for lazy people like me! The scent smells like matcha, it has a delicious sweet matcha flavour and it's creamy without being too milky. No sugar is needed since it's sweet already. I don't really know if there is really coffee in it, but i'm sure that there is sugar in it because of the sweet taste. I'm loving the flavour and these sticks are perfect for work or at home! I definitely will buy a whole box of these ^^ yes, I love it that much!

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BLENDY MATCHA AU LAIT
To be honest there isn't much of a difference between these two sticks. The scent is the same, the color is the same. The only difference is the taste, the blendy matcha au lait is slightly more sweet than the maxim one. However, both tasted creamy without being too milky.
