Remember my London Haul? I bought a few Barry M nail polishes while I was there. I reviewed two of their nail polishes a while ago, click here for the previous Barry M blogpost. Today I'm going to review two nail polishes of Barry M again. The green one has become my favorite nail polish ♥.
Instant nail effect, White #316
It's a crackling nail polish. It dries very fast and it cracks within a second. Also this crackling nail polish has a matte finish.
Nail paints, Mint green #304
Like I said before, it has become my favorite nail polish ^o^. I'm loving this mint green color, it is perfect for the summer! This nail polish isn't sheer, so a second coat wasn't even needed ^^ it already had a pretty finish after I applied the first coat. It didn't chip that easily compared to the Barry M Peach Melba #318 which is good.
Shake the nail polishes
Don't forget to shake the nail polishes before you apply it. While you shake it you will see & hear two silver balls in the bottle. These silver balls will mix the color better and faster, so don't remove them!
Ingredients of the crackling nail polish
Brushes
The brush of the mint green nail polish is more thin than the one from the white crackling nail polish. I prefer the brush of the crackling nail polish more because it's easier to apply. However, the mint green nail polish wasn't streaky so I'm happy with the outcome.
Price & Where to buy?
The instant nail effect white is £3,99 and the Mint green nail polish is £2,99. The retail prices are all the same at the drugstores in London. However, I bought the Mint green for £2.- because there was a buy 2 for £4.- deal back then. These nail polishes are also sold at Topshop, Boots and at their website: http://www.barrym.com. People in The Netherlands can also find these at the webshop, Alice & jo's havesentials.
Swatch
This is the swatch of the Barry M Nail Paint Mint Green #304. Ain't it pretty ^^? I only applied one coat in these pictures.
Lets make it crack!
It looks awesome together with the white crackling nail polish ^^! The cracks are looking different on every nail. I applied a thin, medium and thick layer of nail polish on every nail to watch the different effects. As you can see on the picture: the thinner you apply the crackling polish the more cracks you will have and the smaller the cracks will be! I usually apply a top coat after I applied a crackling nail polish but I didn't do it this time, because I wanted to see how long it would last. It stayed for 4 days or so, after the fourth day it started to chip, so always apply a top coat after it!
My opinion
I highly recommend both nail polishes ^^! The white crackle nail polish dries extremely fast and it gives you a pretty matte finish. The mint green nail polish is perfect for the summer! The only downside of the mint green polish is the thin brush, but it wasn't streaky, so I'm happy with the outcome of it.

Bornprettystore : Blue Crackling Nail Polish
Remember my Bornprettystore haul? Most of you girls were curious about the crackling nail polish that I got from that store, so I decided to review that product first. The crackle nail polish is from the brand Laushine, a Chinese brand. All colors looked so awesome on the bornprettystore website, so it was hard to choose.
However, I eventually chose the dark blue crackle polish because I thought that it would be great with a silver nail polish (that I recently bought) as the base color.
Base color
I applied two layers of the silver nail polish from Essence as the base color. It's the Essence nail art cracking base color, #02 Sparkling Silver that I used.
Crackling nail polish
Note: Before application, you really have to shake the nail polish very well! I really like the color of this crackling nail polish :D, it matches perfectly with the silver nail polish. It also dries within a second which is extremely fast. This nail polish has a matte finish as you can see on the picture below.
Packaging & brush
The packaging looks awesome, as you can see on the first picture of this blogpost! I totally love the glass bottle. The brush of the nail polish is good as well and it's very easy to apply. This brush is even better than the one from Barry M that I tried a few days ago.
Where can you buy it?
You can buy the blue crackling nail polish at Bornprettystore.com. They are selling it for $5,50. A lot more colors are available, you really should check it out cause the green and purple one are looking awesome as well :D! Go to this link to check out their assortment: Cracking polish. The crackling nail polish that I received wasn't the same as the one on the picture from their website. It's from a different brand and the color is slightly different too, but I totally prefer this one, especially because of the pretty packaging. This one looks way better than the one on that picture.
My opinion
This crackle nail polish is awesome! I love the color, packaging and the brush! It's easy to apply and it cracks within a second! Besides, I think that the product is affordable as well. I couldn't stop staring at my nails because they were looking awesome, haha no kidding! I will definitely buy the other colors ^____^♥!

Barry M Instant Nail Effects Black & Peach Melba
Remember my London haul? I bought some Barry M nail polishes back then, I wanted to try these for a long time now! I will show you some swatches of these nail polishes in this blogpost ^__^. Check out the crackling effect of this awesome nail polish of Barry M!
Instant nail effect, Black #311
This crackle nail polish dries very fast. You will be able to see it crack within a second o_o! It has a pretty matte finish.
Nail paints, Peach Melba #318
It's a cute Peach/Apricot color ^^, I'm loving pastel colors! This nail polish isn't sheer at all, a second coat isn't even needed. However, it did chip after two days even after applying a good top coat.
Shake it
Don't forget to shake the nail polishes before you apply it. While you shake it you will see & hear two silver balls in the bottle. These silver balls will mix the color better and faster, so don't remove them!
There was a small tutorial attached:
1. Paint your nails with your chosen colour and let them dry.
2. Apply a single coat of Instant Nail Effects, don't overlap
3. Watch the unique effect appear before your eyes!
Ingredients of the Crackle nail polish
Brushes
One thing that I didn't like while applying the nail polish was the brush. These brushes are too thin in my opinion. They could have made it thicker which would make it easier to apply. It was a bit streaky while I applied the Peach Melba =(.
Price & Where to buy?
The instant nail effect black is £3,99 and normally the Peach melba nail polish is £2,99 at Superdrug. However, I bought the Peach melba for £2.- cause there was a buy 2 for £4.- deal back then. These nail polishes are also sold at Topshop, Boots and at their website: http://www.barrym.com. People in The Netherlands can also find these at the webshop, Alice & jo's havesentials.
Swatch
As you can see in the picture below, the cracks are looking different on every nail. I actually don't think it's very pretty but it's just cool to see the effect. It really cracks within a second xD so awesome!
My thoughts
I definitely recommend the black crackle nail polish (instant nail effect, #311). It dries extremely fast and it gives you pretty matte crackling nails. I think it's good for the price as well :). I haven't tried a cheaper crackling nail polish before, so I can't compare it with an other one. The Peach melba is just ok. I'm loving the color of that nail polish, but it's a pity that it chips so fast. Besides, the big downside of these nail polishes are the thin brushes, it makes it a bit hard to apply =/.

Crackle nail polish
Have you heard of this already? It's the latest nail polish trend: Crackle nail polishes. There aren't many nail polishes yet with the crack effect. I haven't tried it, but would love to if its available here. It is different than the normal polishes. I actually don't think its pretty, but it made me curious, because its something different than we are used to =p I found this video on youtube, just watch and you can really see it crack xD.
