BB Cream Vibrating Applicators | Comparison

People who are into the Asian beauty market have probably noticed a new gadget. It has been very popular these few months and it's an upcoming trend in the make up application market. I'm talking about an vibrating applicator for BB creams which obviously can be used for foundations as well. It's a device to get an even application, so you can say goodbye to streaky lines with this baby! More and more Korean brands are adding a vibrating applicator into their collection. Korean brands like BRTC, Missha, Dr. Jart+, Etude House, Tony Moly, It's Skin and The Face Shop are selling it already. Will this be the next big thing this year?! In this blogpost I will make a comparison between the brands.

WHAT IS A BB CREAM VIBRATING APPLICATOR?
It's actually not a new gadget. It is similar to the idea behind the Lancome Oscillation Powerfoundation which was launched in 2009 and they are still selling it. These battery-operated vibrating applicators are said to vibrate over 12,000 times per minute to give the smoothest, most even application you can’t achieve with any other applicators. It's also easy to use: you only need to apply the BB cream directly over the sponge that is attached to the applicator or put some dots on your face with your BB cream, turn on the device, run it over your face and let it do its job. This can be done in just a few minutes which will save you a lot of time in the morning.

MY OPINION
If you compare all of the above vibrating applicators they all seem to promise the same thing - it gives you an even and natural finish. If you look at the prices, it can go up to $50 which is quite pricey. If you compare the price and quantity, BRTC is the best choice. It offers the device, a bb cream and 5 extra puffs which probably will last for a long time. If you would like to have an multifunctional applicator, then the TOK TOK Pro Touch is the best out of the bunch. It's not only a bb cream applicator but also a cream applicator and a cleanser. I recently purchased this one online, so I'm very curious how this applicator will be. The MISSHA applicator seems to be the fastest and the Etude House one the slowest. It's all up to you which one you would choose, which BB cream you love and if you are willing to spend money on a vibrating applicator. Unfortunately not all applicators are sold separately, which makes you obliged to buy the bb cream as well.

What do you think of this vibrating applicator trend? Would you give it a try?
