I recently bought plenty of nail polishes at my local drugstore, check out my haul here. And I'm going to swatch every nail polish one by one ^^. Today I'm swatching a Jade colored nail polish from Essence, called Viva La Green #79. Yes, you can see some studs at the background^^. I'm going to create a nail art creation with those later, stay tuned! Continue with reading if you want to see some swatches of the Viva La Green nail polish.
This nail polish is from their Colour & Go quick drying nail polish collection. They recently launched 14 new colors and this is one of them. In total there are 55 colors in this collection, which are suitable for Spring and Summer. The flat brush makes it easy to apply evenly with just one stroke!
Price and Where to buy?
Essence is a brand from Germany and is sold in a few countries in Europe like The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. You can also purchase it in Canada and Malaysia now! Unfortunately you can't buy it online =(. They are sold for €1.29 in The Netherlands, which is almost NOTHING!! ^___^
A short description can be found at the back of the bottle. Their nail polishes are quite petite, it only has 0.16 fl. oz/5ml in it. I'm glad that the price is so low ^^.
I'm loving the jade color! It matches very well with the current season, it's very colorful! I only applied one coat in the pictures below. The color of the polish looks slightly darker in real.
It's a nice nail polish which is easy to apply thanks to the flat brush and it dries pretty quick (within 1-2 minutes). I'm happy that the price for this nail polish is so low ^^. The only downsides are that it chips fast, it chipped after 2 days (without applying a topcoat) and that you can't buy it everywhere =/. I hope that Essence Cosmetics will be available in your country soon!
