Review: My Eyelook with Essence Sun Club Eyeshadow #2

I purchased an Essence palette at my previous haul, see blogpost. I had never tried Essence eyeshadows before, so I was quite curious how the pigmentation would be. I didn't expect too much, since its a budget brand after all. I bought an eyeshadow palette which is from their Sun Club Glamour To Go collection. There are two eyeshadow palettes in the Sun Club Collection which are #01 South Beach and #02 Long Beach. I bought the second one which has a lot of brown tones in it. Check out the swatches in this blogpost and I've also created an eyelook, make sure to check that out as well ^___^!

Price and Where to buy?
The palette is only €2,99!! I know.. cheap right o.o! Essence is a budget brand from Germany and is sold in a few countries in Europe like The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. You can also purchase it in Canada and Malaysia now! I'm not sure if they have this collection in your country, you could ask at your local drugstore. Go to their website http://www.essence.eu/ to check out their latest collections.

Packaging
Descriptions are written at the back of the packaging including the ingredients. As you can see there are 8 colors in this palette, a lot right?! The palette is small and you can easily put this in your make up bag and travel with it.

Applicator
This palette includes a two sided brush: one with a sponge and one with a normal brush. The hair of the brush is quite soft but I rather use my own eyeshadow brush which works better :). However, I think it's great that these are included, it's definitely worth the price!

Swatches
8 eyeshadows: all of them has shimmer except for the dark brown one (upper right) which is matte. It surprised me that the dark colors are quite pigmented. Only the two light colors aren't very pigmented as you can see in the picture below, it's barely visible on my hand.
I've created an eyelook with this palette, I'm loving all colors btw! I have monolids so it's a bit hard to see all the colors that I've used on my eyelid. In the picture below I wrote down which color I used for this natural summer look.

RECOMMENDED!
This palette is definitely recommended. You will get 8 colors and a brush for just €2,99! The pigmentation is ok and the colors are great for a natural look. The eyeshadow won't fade as long as you wear a good primer in advance. I'm far more pleased with this eyeshadow palette. I will definitely put this in my make up bag ^___^! The only thing which I didn't like was that the eyeshadow tends to crumble when you use it, so make sure to tap the excess first before you put it on your eyelids.
