Essie Swatch - French Affair

I don't have many Essie nail polishes in my collection, this is probably the second one. I bought this while I was in Hong Kong and it was around 60 HKD? or something, I forgot the exact price hehe. Anyways, I would like to show you some swatches of this Essie nail polish which is called French Affair.
Description
According to the Essie website this nail polish is DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free. The color is a sophisticated soft lavender pink.

Brush
I don't like the brush at all. It was so streaky after I applied it >.<". You need to apply 2-3 coats to create a good finish.

Does it chip fast?
This nail polish from Essie doesn't chip fast, it only started to chip after 8 days or so. It's a great nail polish to invest in if you're wearing this color often. The only big downside is probably the brush =/.

Ingredients

Swatches
The color of this nail polish on their website, is slightly different than in real. In real it looks more like barbie pink. I applied two coats in the pictures below, it gives a shiny finish. I don't like the color of this nail polish at all, it's too girly to me and too barbie pink-ish lol. I should have gone for a different color >.<" sigh ...
Here you can see that it's a little bit streaky >.<" .. I took this picture in the shadows.

  1. I have that one as well and I kind of hate it. I can't apply it like you can. My nails look really streaky and uneven. I love Lady Like though and it has the same brush. It's weird.

  5.  I have used three different ones and it didn't help. I do use a top coat, but no luck. :( I think it's just the formula.

  12. jup 8 days.. i also had that with Zoya nail polishes. It really depends on what you're doing with your hands :) and it depends on your top coat as well.

  21. its such a beautiful pastel pink <3 though i find essie nail polishes (especially pastel/light shades) formula being quite difficult to apply/leave a clean finish :/ meh
