Review: My Beauty Diary - Earl Grey Tea & Macaron

I received the My Beauty Diary - My Sweet Tea Time set a while ago and there were 8 Earl Grey Tea & Macaron sheet masks in it. I've tried it out and this is my review:

Description
My Beauty Diary Earl Grey Tea & Macaron Sheet Mask illuminates and clarifies the face in 20 minutes. The combination of black tea ferment and bergamot essential oil gives a miraculously brightening effect. It brightens dull and yellowish skin tone, leaving skin briskly clear, fair and flawless. Sweet almond protein and sugar cane extract are mixed to leave skin glittering and translucent, smooth and delicate. The fruit extracts of rosa canina, blueberry and acerola leave skin fair and perfectly clear, enhancing the skin’s translucency and ability to defend. It's suitable for normal skin and is recommended for dull skin without lustre.

Packaging
I'm loving the packaging of this sheet mask ^^, loving the font, the lace print and the small tea and the colorful macarons on it. The material of the packaging is different from the normal ones, it's not shiny and it feels matt (lol don't know how to describe it), it was easy to photograph though. These masks are made in Taiwan and the description at the back of the packaging is Chinese.
Price
It's sold at imomoko.com for $15.99 and they sell it in a box of 10.

Scent
I didn't know what to expect. Once I opened the packaging I could smell the scent of earl grey tea, but no scent of macarons o_O".

Texture
The sheet mask is thin and soft with lots of serum, but not enough for my neck. It's thin which also means that it can easily be torn. The size of the mask is the same as the ones from the normal line and the texture of the mask as well. The picture below is taken after the 20 minutes, no serum left on the mask anymore, my skin absorbed most of it :).

How to use
   1. After cleansing and toning steps, tear off the package of the mask and gently place it on the face (it looks
like this when you get the mask out of the packaging).
   2. Leave on for about 20 – 30 minutes. Then remove the mask.
   3. Massage the remains, if any, into the skin. No rinsing is required. Follow with normal skin care procedure.
Ingredients
This mask also contains whitening ingredients.
My opinion
There was a cooling sensation without putting this mask in the refrigerator which I liked. My skin felt soft and moisturized after the 20 minutes and I could notice some instant brightening effect afterwards. Yes, this mask does what it says :). The big downside is that it's hard to get because it's a limited edition mask. I don't think that I will purchase this again because I'm not a big fan of earl grey tea, but its overall a good mask :). Pay attention to the next blogpost sweeties, I'm going to hold a small giveaway tomorrow where you can WIN this mask ^___^!
