Swatches: Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon

Hi all! You have probably seen these gorgeous lipsticks from my Jolse haul already. These are the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon lipsticks from ETUDE HOUSE. I got them in 3 shades: BE108, BE109 and BE110. I couldn't choose between the 3 shades so I got all 3. Check out the swatches in today's blogpost.

ETUDE HOUSE DEAR MY BLOOMING LIPS TALK CHIFFON
I blogged about the whole collection a while ago here and the official swatches on their website do look different than in real. The definition for a chiffon finish is cream + matte  = chiffon finish. It has an adorable pink plastic packaging that's lightweight. I am seriously in love with it!

SWATCHES
The lipsticks are moist and creamy. It feels light on the lips. The pigmentation is good, you don't need to go over your lips over and over again. It's very buildable, I can create gradient lips as well as full lips with it. The finish is semi-matte but it's not drying AT ALL and it won't stick into the lines or gets flakey. It has a fresh berry scent to it, which isn't overwhelming luckily and the scent fades after you apply it.

• good pigmentation

• price/quality is good
• feels light on the lips
• doesn't cling into lip lines and doesn't flake
• cute pink packaging that's light
• the color is buildable, you can create gradient lips with it, but also a full lip

CONS
• staying power is not great
• some people may not like the scent (but this is a personal reference, I personally don't mind)

FINAL THOUGHTS
My favorites are BE108 and BE109. These are just my go to shades which I can wear daily. I can easily create gradient lips with these and they are so moist and the pigmentation is great! Some matte lipsticks can be very drying and stay in the lines, but these ones won't, it won't flake too. You don't need to apply a lip balm in advance to apply the lipstick, you can apply it straight on your dry lips and it's moist! The only thing that I wish it would be better is the lasting power, it does transfers when you drink and eat, so re-application is needed. If you don't eat or drink it might just stay on for 3-4 hours or so.

I did read that the quality between shades may vary and be aware that the swatches on their website are slightly different than in real, so I recommend to search for reviews online before you buy the shade that you would like to buy.

note: these products were sent to me for review purposes, this didn't affect my opinion about the product. I didn't receive money to write about it, see disclaimer.
