Review: Lioele Moist Beam Cushion Pact - Keautystore

Remember the blogpost about the latest Korean beauty trend? A lot of Korean brands has added a cushion foundation into their assortment since it became very popular in South Korea. Today I will be trying the Moist Beam Cushion Pact from Lioele which I received from Keautystore.com. Make sure to read the blogpost since its a pretty interesting product that is not available in Europe yet.

LIOELE MOIST BEAM CUSHION PACT
The Moist Beam Cushion Pact is a multi functional foundation pact that leaves the skin with a dewy brightened look. This foundation contains SPF50 PA+++ to protect skin from harmful UV rays, while its moisturizing properties will keep the skin healthy and moist. It has 13g of product in it. The built in sponge allows the creamy formula to become airy and lightweight for a truly natural feel and finish. Its innovative design makes this the perfect foundation for travel and quick touch ups.

PRICE & WHERE TO BUY?
I received this one from www.keautystore.com, it's currently out of stock so you have to wait until they have it again. The price of this product is around $30. They also sell lots of other products from brands like Etude House, Skinfood, Innisfree, Missha and many more! You can use my coupon code BLOG115 at checkout to get 5% OFF!

PACKAGING
On the packaging you can see a disco ball with a meaning that the moist beam will make your skin shine like a disco ball lol, like the face from the model on the ad. Ofcourse that is not reality, there is no product that will make you shine like a disco ball, who wants that anyways..?

All cushion foundations in the market has the same kind of packaging - it comes in a small portable compact that can be refilled. It also has a dual air puff which claims to be non-absorbing. When you open the compact you will see the dual air puff and a mirror.

Remove the lid and you will see a built in sponge. Press on it with a make up brush, beauty blender or the dual air puff that came along with the cushion pact and apply it on your whole face.

SCENT
The moist beam cushion pact has a floral scent just like all the other Lioele products. It smells exactly the same as the Beyond The Solution BB Cream from Lioele but less overwhelming. The scent goes away once you apply it.

SWATCHES & COVERAGE
It's a cream foundation. As you can see it's quite yellow. Unfortunately this product only comes in one shade and I think it's most suitable for people with a NC15 skintone. The coverage is light and is buildable to medium. The product is lightweight, it almost feels like my own skin actually. It covers red areas and dark circles but not freckles or dark spots.

Once you apply it, you will feel a lovely cooling effect but it goes away after a second. I bet that it  would feel great during the hot days. Unfortunately it made my dry patches visible so it's recommended to apply a good moisturizer before you apply this foundation. It did make my pores less visible so that's  a plus+!

PROS
• lightweight
• lovely cooling effect
• natural dewy finish
• easier and quicker application than bb cream from the tube
• has SPF50 PA+++
• suitable for all skin types, even oily ones
• makes your pores less visible
• pretty good oil control
• doesn't feel dry on the face
• is able to cover red areas and dark circles
• it's in a compact size which you can easily carry along in your make up bag
• foundation can be refilled
• the dual air puff creates an even, natural and non-cakey finish

CONS
• only comes in one shade - not suitable for dark skintones
• floral scent (personal preference)
• clings onto dry patches (this can be solved by applying a moisturizer in advance)
• not able to cover very dark spots like freckles
• not much product, only 13g
• a bit expensive - $30.-
• dual air puff absorbs product
• need to wash the air puff often

Overall, I like this product. I'm loving the natural dewy finish that it creates, which thankfully doesn't look like a disco ball. It's very lightweight, it just feels like my skin. The coverage is ok to me, since it covers my red areas, dark eye circles and it makes my pores less visible.

This is actually my first cushion foundation that I had tried and i'm pretty impressed with the product. The cooling effect is nice (though i wish this would stay longer) and the dual air puff creates a very even finish. The only thing that I don't like is that the dual air puff absorbs product which means that I have to wash it often. Yeah.. I know...i'm lazy haha.
