Review: Etude House - My Castle Hand Cream Pink Wish

Look how adorable this packaging is! You might have seen this hand cream before, since I blogged about the My Castle collection a few months ago. This is the Etude House My Castle hand cream. There are four fragrances with each a different house container with four different colour schemes - Forever Rose (green) Pink Wish (pink), Ice Frozen (blue) and Sweet Cookie (brown). The one that I have is obviously pink wish and it has a fruity & floral fragrance.

PACKAGING
When I first had this product in my hands, the first thing that I thought was: "It's so small!" - I expected it to be bigger! However, the small size makes it even cuter! There is 30ml of product in it. I wouldn't bring this along in my make up bag, since it has a quite childish packaging (and I'm not super young anymore), so I would put this on my table and use it when my hands feel like it. The packaging is made of plastic and all you need to do is twist the roof and you are able to get the product out.

If you have watched the Korean drama You're So Lovable with Krystal from f(x) and Bi Rain, you might have seen this product. I didn't even notice it while I was watching the drama. I finished the whole drama by the way and it's not bad!

STRUCTURE
Once you twist the cap open, you will notice the fresh floral scent (it's more floral than fruity). It may be overwhelming to some, but I think it's alright. It contains shea butter & 6 organic herbs and that will form the moisture layers on the skin. You only need a bit of product and it's easy to spread. The thickness is medium, eventhough water is the first in the ingredient list, it's not a watery type of lotion - it is really a cream. However, it does absorbs fast, isn't sticky and it keeps my hands moist for a couple of hours.

WHERE TO BUY?
I received this one from bonjourhk.com where they sell it for USD$6.24, but you can also get it on the Etude House global website, jolse.com, beautynetkorea.comkoreadepart.com and w2beauty.com.

LAST THOUGHTS
Overall I think it's a good product. The scent is pleasant, it absorbs fast, keeps my hands moist, the packaging is adorable. Ingredient wise it's great since it contains shea butter and a few natural ingredients which will keep the hands moist. The girly packaging makes it fun as a gift or you can just buy all of them to collect it, since the price of USD$6 is alright to buy them all or at least more than one. The only downside that I can think of is probably the scent. I wouldn't recommend this to people who doesn't like scented products. The floral scent is pretty strong as well so some people might not like it. I'm normally not a big fan of scented products either, but this scent is pretty fresh and pleasant, so I'm alright with it. Also, this product is meant more for sitting on top of your table than for traveling within your make up bag. Overall I think it's a good product.
