Review: Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder

Y'll know that I'm an Innisfree addict by now haha. I'm loving their skincare products but haven't tried much of their make up products. I have been hearing a lot about the Innisfree No-sebum mineral powder lately. Yes, the name sounds good right? NO-SEBUM! It's a very popular product among Koreans, but also recommended by all Korean online shops. I purchased one to try and I've been using it for 2 months now. Continue with reading if you want to know more about it.

WHERE TO BUY?
I purchased mine at w2beauty.com and it's around $10.-, but you can also purchase it at beautynetkorea.com, jolse.com, kpoptown.com, twofacemall.com and at their official english website.

INNISFREE NO-SEBUM MINERAL POWDER
This is a replacement for oil control paper making the skin soft and a silky matte finish. I have a combination dry skin type, so my T-zone tends to get oily during the day. This powder has a double sebum-control system, it keeps a balance between oil and moisture to create a healthy skin. It contains JEJU natural mineral & mint ingredients. It has a 6 free system: paraben free, talc free, artificial colors free, animal ingredients free, mineral oil free, artificial fragrance free.

PACKAGING
It has a green plastic packaging. It's very small and it contains 5g of product in it. Twist the cap and you are able to see a very soft and cute powder puff. Remove the powder puff and you will see a sticker. Remove the sticker and you can use the product.

SCENT
You either like it or hate it. This powder does have a scent and it reminds me of baby powder.

INGREDIENTS
SILICA, CORN STARCH MODIFIED, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, CAPRYLIC/CAPRICTRIGLYCERIDE, MICA, METHICONE, MINERALSALTS, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, MENTHA ARVENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, DIMETHICONE, GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE, ETHYLENE/ACRYLIC ACID COPOLYMER, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, FRAGRANCE

HOW TO USE
You can use this in the last stage of your daily skincare routine or makeup routine. You can either use the powder puff provided or use a brush. I always prefer to use a brush. When you use that, put a bit of powder on the lid and use your brush. Tap it a bit and gently apply onto the entire face or the areas where you tend to get oily.

Tip: you can also use this is as a dry shampoo and create more volume in your hair.

POWDER
I removed the lid to see how much product there is inside. It's actually quite a lot, even though the product is small. I've been using it for 2 months (every single day) and I still have loads of product. It's a white loose powder and when you apply it, it's translucent. It looks very white I know, but once you apply it, you won't have a white cast, it's translucent.

FINAL THOUGHTS
This powder really does what it says and I can understand why loads of Koreans love this product. It controls the amount of sebum, leaving a very silky matte finish which I absolutely LOVE. (It's baby smooth!) It doesn't leave a white cast since it's translucent and it's easy to use. The price is reasonable and sold at a lot of online webshops. I'm using it to set my make up. I always prefer a matte finish rather than a glowy finish. The lasting power is great and it keeps my make up in place, I do need to re-apply once to keep it matte all day long. (Of course this really depends on the area where you're staying and the climate in your country.) I wasn't used to the scent at first but since I use it almost every day, i got used to it now. I definitely recommend this product if you are searching for a powder to get a matte and soft finish.
