Far East movement- Like a G6

The hit song of Far East Movement: like a G6 reached the #1 spot on iTunes yesterday. Its a great song to listen to, before and in the clubs. The G6 refers to the Gulfstream 650, an aircraft developed by Gulfstream Aerospace.

I'm wondering when this song will become a hit in Europe ;)

I ♥ Japanese food

On the 26th of September 2010, (my birthday) I went to a Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam called, Japan inn with my two bbfs. One of the dishes that we ordered was the unagi don (see picture). It looks nice but the taste of it was just normal. I was disappointed with the food quality and price. The price is way too high for what you're getting. Many friends of mine were telling me that Japan inn is one of the best in Amsterdam, but it really isn't. The quality of the food and the decoration of it was just the same as the food at an all-u-can-eat restaurant. Ah well, it's just my opinion ^_^ ~

Most of my friends know that I really like Japanese food xD. I'm trying to find the best Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam ^_^, I'm eating it at least twice a month and I even work at a Japanese restaurant for almost 3 years :3 already, sounds addicted right?

Vietnamese restaurant: Little V in Rotterdam

There aren't many Vietnamese restaurants in Holland. I never went to one before and many friends of mine went to Little V and said it was nice, so I became curious and wanted to try it as well :)

Our drinks ^_^~ looks nice right? It was ice tea, the yellow one tasted like ginger and the red ones tasted like raspberries. It was very fresh!

Entrée: The famous Pho ^_^! I ate this for the very first time ~ and i liked it, have you tried i before?

Side dish: Cold dish with veggies and shrimps which were very small, not sure what the name was~ didn't really liked this one though >.<
Our main dish: this wasn't all, we ordered more than this hehehe..
Everything was good, the service was ok ^_^! The dishes aren't that expensive there, it depends what you order. We had ordered a lot of dishes and it was around 35 euros per person (4 people). I would go there again if I'm in Rotterdam. So, it's recommended :) The restaurant is easy to find, not far from the metrostation: Blaak, only 5 minutes walk or so from the metrostation..

Happy mid autumn/ mooncake festival ^_^!

Hello lovely readers ^_^! It's the mooncake festival (中秋節)!! Have you all been eating mooncakes? Many people love to eat the mooncakes with egg in it >.<" but I really dislike those! I prefer the normal one, without egg xD.

A few years ago people created ice cream mooncakes and they are also selling it here in Holland ^_^~ only a few flavors though, like green tea and sesame flavor. Last year while I was in Shanghai I saw that you could buy a box of pretty mooncake icecreams at Haagen Dazs. I really wanted to try some back then, but they were all sold out =( darn! And they were extremely expensive! 1 mooncake was 15 euros (around 150 RMB). So I went to their website today and I looked at the icecream mooncakes of this year. (The mooncakes have a different design every year at Haagen Dazs) I took a screenshot at their website:

This is the rainbow collection. I was like oehhh, that looks niceee, but I looked at the price, I was like wow o_o"... It's 52,80 euros (528 RMB) for 1 box with 9 mooncakes in it. WOW, expensive, but I would love to try it though XD! The flavors are: White chocolate, coffee, strawberry, milk chocolate, mango and more... The large one in the middle stands for the moon and the 8 small mooncakes are the stars. However, I was just curious how they look like in real so I searched for a picture at flickr and I took a screenshot of it:

My opinion about this kdrama
I've watched 6 episodes so far and its quite addictive. I like the story of ISWAK^_^. They added some jokes at the korean version, which is good. (like the lady gaga costume xD)

It's not my favorite kdrama, but its fun to watch =). The smile of Kim Hyun Joong is super cute gnagnagna.. Ahum anyways....However, there is a male actor (Lee Tae Sung) which has a elvis haircut, which annoys me a bit >.<" but overall its a nice drama & recommended ^_^ Whats your opinion about this drama?

Which mask do you like?

Domino nail art tutorial

Yesss^_^! Finally a new nail art tutorial everybody! And this time its the domino nail art tutorial :)

Things that you need:

1. A Cotton swab
2. A Toothpick
3. A Nail file
4. A base & a top coat
5. A black & a white nail polish
6. A white tip painter or a nail brush
7. Nail polish remover

1st step: Grab your toothpick and cut the two ends with a scissor (see above).
2nd step: Grab your nail file and file the toothpick to create flat ends.
3rd step: Apply a base coat and let it dry.
4th step: Apply a black nail polish and let it dry.
5th step: Use a white tip painter to apply a white line in the middle of all of your nails. (see picture)

6th step: Put a bit of white nail polish on a piece of paper and put your toothpick in it.
7th step: Apply dots on your nails, just like domino's and let this dry. (see picture)

8th step: Tidy up, if you've got any polish on the skin around your nail, grab the cotton swab and put some nail polish remover on it and gentle rub away the unwanted nail polish.
9th step: Apply a top coat when everything is dry and you're done :)

- Dear'Lee white nail polish
- Catrice white tip painter

Snacks ♥

I went to Chinatown in Amsterdam a few days ago. I love to go there and buy snacks, because the packaging of Chinese snacks are always so cute and fun xD! I had to dip the sticks into the creamy chocolate and there were random words on the sticks lol (REALLY RANDOM!)



This one made me laugh xD hahah such a random post today =) sorry if you don't like it xD

Review: Dr. van der Hoog Fruitzuur Masker

I tried a crememask of Dr. van der Hoog today (fruit acid). The scent of this mask is nice, it really smells a bit like apples. This mask is for a Normal/Combination skin.

I really love the packaging, its probably one of the reasons why this mask is so expensive (2.05 euros).

There is 10ml in it, which is a lot I think. I really had a thick layer of the crememask on my face l0l xD. You can wash it after 20 minutes, whoa my skin felt so soft ^_^! Don't forget to apply a daycreme after it, otherwise your face will feel dry. After applying a daycreme it will feel refreshing :)

Pros:

♥ Capacity is a lot in one package
♥ Easy to apply
♥ It does cleans & removes the dead skin cells on your face (what the packaging said)
♥ My face felt very soft after applying it

Playful Kiss 장난스런 키스

It's a new Korean dramaserie which is called Playful Kiss (장난스런 키스) also known as Mischievous Kiss. It's actually the Korean version of It's started with a kiss. Whoa o_o! I love that story, I've seen the Taiwanese version before and I liked it! I'm wondering how the Korean version is .... ^_^!

You know what's great about the Korean version?
Kim Hyun Joong is the main actor ^_^! Yes,Yes,Yes!!! The super cute guy from Boys over flowers. *screams* or from the MV of Gummy - as a man. Still loving that song by the way xD!! Episode 3 is out already. I didn't have the time to watch it yet, but I'm excited already hahah

Yay, there is a new Taiwanese drama serie starring Wilber Pan (潘瑋柏) & Sandrine Pinna (張榕容). No idea who Sandrine is.....? Anyways, episode 1 was out last sunday and I already sobbed a bit at the first episode =$ ... hehehe.. that means a lot right? I've watched the first episode and I think its GREAT already xD hahah.. I'm not going to tell you the synopsis, otherwise I'm spoiling the story a bit, its better if you just watch the serie xD I'm only going to share the first episode, so enjoy everybody ^^ !

Mask set & Dr. van der hoog Seaweed mask review

What are YOU using when applying a mask?
I'm using a mask set made of plastic which I bought in China. It was only 9 yuan or something lol, which is around 0.90 eurocents, that's almost nothing xD! You can also buy it at Ebay for a very low price. You will get 3 little spoons with it too, that's so handy when you want to apply extra ingredients in your mask. The brush isn't really soft though, so the quality of it is quite bad. But I think its better to use a brush when you're applying your mask than your fingers. At least it's more hygienic. I used to apply it with my fingers all the time, but that aint good for me and my clumsiness xD.

Which mask did I use?

I used a Dr. van der Hoog powder mask. Its called the Seaweed mask/Marine algae mask. It has 15 grams in it. It's for a dehydrated skin like mine T_T" my cheeks are quite dry. And this mask hydrates and purifies your skin.

How to use?

You have to mix the powder with 1tb spoon of cooked water or lotion. And after that you need to apply it on your face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. The mask will turn hard. After 20 minutes, you have to remove it with lukewarm water. Don't forget to dab your face with lotion after you've washed your face, otherwise it will feel very dry. And for a good result you need to apply it once or twice a week.

My opinion
Well after I removed this mask my face felt very soft, clean & fresh. My skin didn't feel very hydrated after applying it for the first time, but I think that it will be if I use it once or twice a week :)

The Urban Decay Primer Potion, also known as the best eye shadow primer, has a new packaging, a squeeze tube. I think that this packaging is way better than the previous one.
